so at some point they start to diminish in practical effect

Nests are places where you can find unusual pokemons on a regular basis, benchmark I go for is "guarenteed to see 1+ if you hang out for 15min or so"

I can't verify it right now, but Pokevision showed a new type I never seen in this place right now. So right now I'd consider the idea of rotating spawns plausible

I have to scroll down pretty far to find a duplicate

I mean it kind of makes sense since things like atk speed aren't counted into CP, so things like Jolteon will always have a lower CP than an equlivant vaporeon or flareon

But that's mostly because I tend to transfer pokemon if I have a higher CP pokemon of the same species

Yeah, I do that a lot too but I keep higher level pokemon for now to sit on gyms

I pretty much never use my Lapras to attack, but I stick it somewhere that I'd like to hold as long as possible.

some nights we'll go out gym catching late at night so we can sometimes hold a bunch to get our claim bonus... need to have stuff to stick on gyms then, and maintain a good attack squad

With 2 strong Vaporeons, I rarely need anything else to clear out a gym.

I like to put fun stuff on Gyms. Favorites are Raichu, Grimer, Person, and now Ninetails :)

Ooo and I caught a 1023 Dewgong yesterday too, was so happy with that catch :D

Using thesilphroad.com/research and assuming the max level of a wild Pokemon is 30 (which I thought I read somewhere, but can't remember where), then the max CP for an Eevee is 923.

So, if you find a 923 CP Eevee, keep it forever.

It has perfect stats.
