I generally stay pretty damn close to nearly everything I shoot, doesn't help with dodging death explosions, but helps with teaching you good dodging.

Sometimes if you do it right, both ghosts can get hung up on a bomb. I find that the most reliable way to get rid of them. But even then, The big guy kills me half the time. Usually when/if he lazors right against the wall. gets me every time.

I had an interesting issue on my last The Lost run through the chest: There was a Gurdy room, and the only entrance was from the top. Normally the game teleports you down to the bottom, but I had Isaac's Heart - which wasn't teleported with me. So it attempted to travel through Gurdy, took damage, and killed me.

Using an int instead of a boolean, using compareTo() instead of equals()...the flag isn't needed at all and the loop could be a foreach instead, but that I'd agree is more pedantic than ridiculous. Those first bits though, ugh.
