so yeah in the PC versions you still have to hover to see an item's actual properties excepted for rarity and item type

I never bother switching, the weapon type one (I think) adds headers which eat too much space

I can recognize the items at a glance anyway

For as small as the inventory is, it works pretty well, but it wouldnt' work if you had a much larger backpack or more types of items
