Then again, Valve made programming against srcds harder than it needs to be.
The voting system I want to hook has no public interface. Even then, reverse engineering the methods the server calls doesn't work because I want to tamper with the values inside said function. So, instead, I'm pretending to be the CVoteController itself, which I already reverse-engineered.

Having said that, I know quite a few people who had to get replacement Wiis when SSBB came out because of defects reading dual-layer DVDs in earlier Wiis.

Actually I should rephrase, I didn't need to. It started buzzing, so I called them about it. My warranty was almost up, so they suggested I exchange it with them for a new one before it expired.
That is to say the Wii worked perfectly fine, it would just make an odd buzzing sound.

Anyway, I documented in excruciating detail how the TF2 vote system works. Turning it into a SourceMod extension is harder than I thought though. Ironically, turning it into a SourceMod plugin is fairly easy.
But I don't want a plugin. I want an extension, because I want it to be an almost drop-in replacement for the SourceMod vote system, which is impossible for a plugin.
(because Plugins can't return multi-dimensional arrays)

Hm... how it plays, then, depends on - is this durability affected by a lot of things, or only specific circumstances? The weaker block simply couldn't block everything, some attacks would be too strong for it. Where as the stronger block could block anything, but the attacks that can only be blocked with the stronger attack result in the shield taking damage.
