@GraceNote Yeah, I know. I didn't realize that is how a suspension work. Once you told me that it makes sense why mods are not affected by the suspension.
I recently discovered the average shopkeeper is unwilling to buy stolen goods (how they know they are stolen, I do not know).
Is there anyway for me to sell stolen items, without making use of the console?
I'm going to claim responsibility for that badge by claiming that you wouldn't even get 1/10th as many views if I hadn't corrected the typo in the title
When I went to check out the co-op play option but it says that I haven't purchased the Online Pass and therefore cannot use it. I know that online passes have become more popular in the past year and often require a separate purchase if you buy the game used/secondhand, but so far the precedent ...
But in the end, it doesn't matter. I don't care whether people call me he or she. What I do care is people trying to correct other people when they don't have any clearer a picture
@GnomeSlice I have not confirmed my sex at any point.
My personal text I always tell people who ask me if their sex/race/nationality/religion/... can be a problem: I don't care about your gender. I don't give a damn where you come from. I couldn't care less about what you believe in, or if you believe in anything at all. Your skin, eye or hair colour, your preferred clothing, your background and so on - I don't need to know it. I care about you, a person, a friend. Nothing else matters.
I told tzenes and others this long ago, but outside of here, there are two communities I have been participant to. One is thoroughly and utterly convinced I am a girl, the other is thoroughly and utterly convinced I am a guy. Neither community will listen to me when I protest, so really, it doesn't matter.
@GnomeSlice Use whatever pronoun you feel most comfortable using.
@Mana The serious and charming aspect of that ultimatum is utterly diminished by the ending. It's like how completely Zeromus' ending speech was ruined because he says "puff" at the end.
Saints Row: The Third has introduced an upgrade system for the weapons. Paying extra cash allows you to upgrade to various levels (I've so far seen 4; I don't know if there's more), but it only has descriptions for its upgrades rather than numbers.
For example, in order to upgrade my 45 Shepherd...
My character is a melee type, and is currently using Light Armor.
Do the perks that light armor provides (extra stamina regen mainly) outweigh the perks and higher armor value that heavy armor provides?
I'm in a room in Karthspire with this huge head. There aren't any obvious things to trigger except for several plates on the ground about the location where my character is located in the following figure.
Any ideas on how to get past this room?
I swear, have the time in chat I can't follow any conversion, not even my own. I think I'm becoming too old for chat. I think I need to fall back to e-mails only.
Sony recently released an Uncharted 1 & 2 Twin Pack (in Australia at least). I haven't played either before and was wondering if getting this bundle was worth it. Uncharted 2 Game of the Year Edition comes with some perks that look good, but the Twin Pack seems like it contains the original v...
What are some of the more exploited moves, combo sequences and tips and tricks pros use for playing Kirby in Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 64?
I feel Kirby has a weakness against Fox, but that may be just me, but if relevant counter-strategies for that (or against any other 'difficult' opponent ...
I've tried looking everywhere on the internet, when I was little during the 90's I used to play a game (which I think was called) "Now & then". I vaguely remember the graphics, I believe it was more 3d than 2d though. It was a boy and his sister going around their attic/house/backyard/basemen...
The amount of health restored is quite low compared to the hassle of getting the ingredients. Is cooking tied in any way to a skill so the health benefits become better later on?
Finally, is it possible to add poison to cooked food?
Patch 1.03 for Dragon Age 2 did this silly thing where any single attack against elite enemies (lieutenants, mages, saarebas, rage demons, etc) is artificially capped at 40% of their health. This means that however I spec my dual wielding rogue, I can never kill them in a single hit. (I can do up...
I received the Manapult truck as part of the Professor Genki DLC. However, running around and sucking up helpless citizens and shooting them as cannonballs tends to raise your notoriety with the police pretty fast. I was pulled from my truck and when I ran around in front of it during the firefig...
@Brant There are a bunch of cheats that do silly things, like 'evil cars' which makes every car in the game try to run you down, or 'raining pedestrians' which makes pedestrians fall from the sky. And lets not forget the 'pimp slap' weapon, which is one of those big foam gloves with a #1 on it. It can knock over cars.
@GnomeSlice I think it's fine. We need more questions about playing games competitively so I'm willing to let this one slide, although I agree that it's a little broad.
I've really come to enjoy conjuring, especially dual-wielding bound swords. They weigh nothing, and I get skill just for bringing them out, and the coup-de-grace is that they automatically soul trap (hooray enchanting!).
The issue is though, how much damage am I losing by using conjured weapons...
I received my PS3 this weekend, and it came with a copy of God of War III. Before jumping headlong into the game and learning to play it, I was wondering what the major differences between the 3 games are, apart from the obvious story line, and if it is worth playing the first 2 before playing III?
In Super Mario Galaxy 2, you have to fight Bowser Jr. who is in a giant robot suit sort of thing. You have Yoshi, and there are Bullet Bills flying at you. I've figured out that I have to get Yoshi to eat the Bullet Bills and spit them out at the blue domes on the front of the robot suit (twice o...

Words With Friends uses the Enhanced North American Benchmark Lexicon (ENABLE), with a few custom additions such as 'Zen' and 'Qi'. The base word list can be found here, but I don't have a source for any of the custom additions at this time.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is the worst or best time to be doing tag edits. I guess they are being absorbed, but...not nearly as fast as I would like...I'm heavily leaning towards this being a bad time.
@LessPopMoreFizz tags merged. (I think) Can't removed ipod-apps and ipod-games though (since we mods can't nuke tags), so had to leave them as synonyms.
And it's not like MW3 was exactly unpopular, anyway. Skyrim sold 7 million units thus far - that's just the number of XBox units that MW3 sold (they sold 12 million in one week thus far)
@badp I'm surprised CHAOS hasn't been selected to do that, since their original goal was to clean up question titles. And yes, I know their powers have been stripped.
(Which makes it all the odder, since aren't they employees?)
Why does retro-gaming live on when murder is done away with silently, in the night? Who needs rickety old-games, bereft of proper violence and heartless ambition?
Yay, the SWTOR folks replied to my ticket... a bit over 24 hours, but still less than 48. I sent them the screenshot of my preorder code email and included where I bought it, what edition I bought, etc... I hope they ban the account of the person who tried to activate my code on their account.
