Are there any differences between one brand of oil filter and another? For example, I see that an "original" mazda oil filter is twice the price as a no name brand.
I find overly general "what's the deal with this category of part?" question to be distracting and unanswerable. Unless you find the answer, "yes, they are different" to be useful....
@BobCross ... i was thinking along the same lines. And, if you go and look for forum opinion, there is a ton of it out there. The only filter I will completely stay away from is Fram. There are plenty of other brands out there which are much better and don't cost much more if any.
