@Letharion just found an interesting thing
wiki.nginx.org/Drupal says to use try_files $uri @rewrite; and location with rewrite command
nginx guys says to avoid rewriets almost as strongly as they say to avoid if
but try_files $uri /index.php makes drupal ignore arguments after ? in url (so no pagers)
answer is to use ` try_files $uri /index.php?$args`
I wonder, should I make Q&A about it

@Molot I'm not quite sure I follow, but being able to ignore query arguments could be useful. For example, I've thought more than once that many sites that are "protected" by varnish, can probably trivially be taken down by generating random query strings. By default varnish would let those through to the back end.
Killing all pagers doesn't sound to good though ;)

@Letharion it turns out that by not doing rewrite, you can decide if you want to pass or ignore arguments
sadly, what seems to be default for nginx people means "ignore" for Drupal

2:34 PM
@Letharion I just don't know if it is worth Q&A entry on Drupal Answers. It falls under "Server administration/deployment" point in Help Center, so it is on-topic... but should I even bother?

3:01 PM
@Mołot I'm not sure I know exactly what the question would be, but generally, I think all good questions should be asked. It will contribute value to someone, even if it's not yourself. :)

Bah! I spend to much time on this. ;) Someone asked this: drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/134611/… and I ended up writing this in response: drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/134614/…
I was supposed to be doing something completely different with my evening...
And completely unrealistically, I then expect everyone to up vote me to +10 within minutes. Why doesn't that happen :P
