multiblocks are simple

you set up a single TE as the brain and it checks that the surrounding blocks are valid

Hahaha and then all the edge cases happen

Like how you can break blocks that aren't the TE and it gets corrupted, or the render starts to fuck, tons of fun :D

It's even more fun because I'm helping port a 1.7.10 mod to 1.10.2, so right now it's on "compiling" state, not working

I haven't checked but you can subscribe to block events so that you know when to invalidate/update the multiblock
