there are a lot of one-word reviews, so they are probably fake reviews

you can only get a virus on your phone by installing it

you can worry about replacing it later

first, try uninstalling it and see if the ads go away

after all, it can't be a very good antivirus, as there actually is a virus on your system

k then how can I identify whether it's a virus or bug because virus would make severe damage to the os and the bug would cause annoying issues but not severe

I think that you are the only person to classify a virus and a bug that way

a bug is a mistake in a program so it behaves incorrectly

well, strictly speaking a virus transmits itself by infecting other programs

so there are no viruses on Android

and very few on Windows

so let's put this another way: you already have malware on your phone

and the app with fake reviews is my first suspect

Guys, what do you think of this question? It's about a tool that's almost exclusively used to manage the AOSP source code. It seems to me like it might be off-topic, but I don't know how interested people might be

Q: What does repo init and repo sync actually do?

This is such a noob question, and pardon me if it is, but I just want to understand the underlying concepts clearly. Reading repo help and Google's repo command reference page doesn't really help much. I understood some bits from Google's reference page, but I still need some more clarification...
