@Izzy According to @Edity the processor was damaged. Thanks for stopping by anyway, @MarkYisri :)

7:27 AM
(Oh, and I hit 1k rep. Yay)

@DanBrown congratulations!

7:48 AM
@DanHulme thanks!

8:40 AM
@DanBrown Congrats!

8:56 AM
@Izzy @DanHulme Hey guys. I'm a mod over at Graphic Design. Does this look like a question you guys would want to have and can answer?

I think it'll be fine
we've had similar questions before but they do tend to sit around unanswered for a while

9:11 AM
@Vincent I agree with @DanHulme – kick it over. Not that I know an answer to it, but it fits our site.

as long as 'a while' isn't 'half the site's existence ;)
I''l kick it over, thanks!

@Vincent No promises :)
@Vincent OK, I'll give it a little polish as soon as it arrives (applying some formatting to make it easier to read), that should improve chances slightly.

Eh. I can't kick it over.
The user is suspended at your place
ah well.

Oh... Jack.

I'll close it at my end.

9:15 AM
Yupp. Well, who doesn't want to listen to warnings… must bear the consequences.

Thanks anyway!

@Vincent You're welcome!

9:38 AM
Uh? what's that I just found in Galaxy S7 for Developers?
Some automatism? I cannot see who put the comment (well, maybe using some mod tools).
Apart from that: Isn't that slightly off-topic anyway?

I put it
mods can put several canned "post notices" from the mod menu
they use them a lot on User Experience
I really couldn't think of anything else to do with that answer. The guy is guessing; literally the previous post in the review queue was his answer on another question saying "maybe search on amazon or google"; and the question is both off-topic and opinion-based.
I wanted to do something that's not discouraging but conveys that posting an answer on every question regardless of how much you know about the subject is not how this site works.

10:35 AM
I was wondering about this question on Meta:
7
Q: Design & Logo ideas?

keithjgrantWe've got a while, but no harm in starting to brainstorm now. Besides, I'm part web designer and I like thinking about these things, even if I don't have a lot of time to contribute in that regard right now. Also, does anybody know: is there open licensing on the Android logo, or are there copy...

Should it really be closed? I feel we could do with a Logo redesign- The current one Blends in with the background, which is not what it should do. Hell, even a recolour could help.
Oh, and I am aware it was posted during Beta

@DanBrown: Congrats... Good going :)

@beeshyams Thanks!

8 hours later…
7:09 PM
@DanHulme Oh – another one I've missed. Will take a closer look at that next time :) Thanks!
@DanHulme Good point. And this way, it looks like some "automated message from the system" (which even fooled me!), so it shouldn't be discouraging.
@DanBrown Well, first that's faaar outdated (from 2010 – do you really think OP's still after it?). Second, if you're concerned about the "blend in" (annoyed me, too) – I can share my UserStyle for that:
@-moz-document domain("android.stackexchange.com") {
#hlogo a {filter: drop-shadow(5px 5px 5px #222);}
}

1 hour later…
8:30 PM
Cool. Thanks @Izzy I guess that can drop my issue (For now, at least- Might bring it up on Meta)
*Our Meta, to clarify.

9:14 PM
@DanBrown Always glad to help! The missing contrast annoyed me as well back then. The drop-shadow might not meet "material guidelines" – but that didn't stop me from liking it better :)

9:32 PM
@Izzy True. And besides, what you do on your end is fine, since it doesn't effect the rest of the people,eh?

@DanBrown Right :) And if someone wants me to share that to his/her personal browser config, that's fine as well :)

And now you are around!!

10:04 PM
@MarkYisri Who?

I'm sayiing people were chatting.

@Izzy Exactly.
Hi @MarkYisri What's up?

@MarkYisri That's what chat rooms are for, yeah #D

Just wondering, does Android N really require Java 1.8?

Don't know, really. I doubt it, though I could be wrong
Alright, well, it seems that way mark, with all the people complaining about the IDE and Java 1.8

10:34 PM
@Izzy What's the closest we have to a verified boot tag?

@DanBrown I wasn't confronted with that yet, so I don't know. From existing tags matching that string, I'd say .
"for issues with the "boot-process" of your Android device." One could call it that, right?

Heh, I guess so. Thanks again!

No prob :)
