Hi. Is it normal for smart phones to stop its data network function while its calling function is active?

@deostroll For some it is, yes. Might also depend on the network and the protocol. Not sure what combination it was, but there's IMHO e.g. no such thing as LTE voice service, so for a call it would need to drop back to 3G – something like that.
