@ᴍᴀsᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴅ_ᴇᴅ and @Philip: Morning all :-) I typically am a huge fan of European football leagues and some cricket unless it is played in subcontinents.

6:15 AM
Either of you follow Barclays Premier League?

@WedaPashi not my department. there is a lot of football and cricket on the main site, but it hasn't found a strong following here.

i don't mind watching football (soccer as I know it to be) locally...it's a pretty cool atmosphere.

@ᴍᴀsᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴅ_ᴇᴅ: Yeah, watching football locally is more fun. I've played football almost everyday when I was a kid.
@ᴍᴀsᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴅ_ᴇᴅ: What sports do you guys usually talk about?

user46190
@WedaPashi generally, american football and basketball. haven't seen much else outside of the world cup.

user46190
@WedaPashi i've gained appreciation for football...i knew a few people who played and i went to their games. that's how i learned the game.

user46190
@WedaPashi did you enjoy the olympics?

12:25 PM
@ᴍᴀsᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴅ_ᴇᴅ: I did. Didn't really follow the entire thing, but yes, was exciting.
Tennis, Archery and Badminton were simply amazing.

user46190
@WedaPashi that's when i get to watch sports i don't watch. swimming, track, and volleyball are a few sports i enjoy during the olympics that i typically don't watch otherwise.

user46190
@WedaPashi didn't badminton have some sort of controversy with teams losing on purpose to get an easier track to the championship? i know that happened in London.

2:33 PM
@ᴍᴀsᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴅ_ᴇᴅ: Spot/Match fixing is quite often these days.
