Q: Use a T-bar as a snowboarder without pain

AlexDisclaimer: I originally posted this question on Lifehacks, but it unfortunately belongs on here. Since both sites are in beta I will leave the original question online. I'd describe myself as a rather experienced snowboarder respectively T-bar rider. I used to fall out the T-bar when I was a be...

Cavs play the Timberwolves...which means #TheReturn of...

I still don't get how he's been as awful as he has been with the Cavs

@waxeagle 1) you gotta watch the video (when you can)...it's great. and 2) right? he's borderline average...i wonder if it's a team chemistry thing because they've been doing a lot of shifting around this season.

@edmastermind29 could be. But when JR Smith looks like a better big 3 component than you.... :(
@edmastermind29 That's fantastic

user46190
@waxeagle ouch.

@edmastermind29 He's still well above average, but last year he was inarguably elite

@MichaelMyers no doubting that. although not to the degree, he's sorta like a roy hibbert. hibbert played solid for some time, then an unexplainable dropoff.

speaking of the Pacers, I haven't heard much about Paul George. I'm glad no doctor is saying they've cleared him...because look at what happened to Derrick Rose...

@edmastermind29 compound fracture is still a 1yr injury IIRC, I know he was talking about coming back sooner, but I feel like that would be super stupid

user46190
@waxeagle right, simply saying that there hasn't been any media fodder to spread around. if he comes back at the start of next season, good for him. no point in "meaningless" games

Yeah, last thing you need is that when you're coming back from a career threatening injury. Teammates seem to understand you need to wait until you're full strength. But fans don't
(tbh, the amount of muscle mass you have to lose after a year or 6 months of not being able to put weight on a joint/bone has to be insane)
building that strength back up in a reasonable amount of time is going to be incredibly hard
(and could lead to further injury if done carelessly)

@waxeagle and thats probably most of the battle. healing is one thing...recovery is another.

@waxeagle the only thing i have on the derrick rose thing is that it seemed like he was hurt every other game...even the beginning of this season. had no one announced that he was cleared to play during the first season out, then i think he'd have more respect from the fans

very true

Any results from your latest research topic @waxeagle?

@infinitesimal nah, can't really do that at work

Btw thanks for the numberfire web site, they have a nice app

that wasn't me
(at least I don't think it was)

I guess playoffs doesn't count as "of the year"?
