@JoshGitlin agreed. marketing psychology is a huge field, but it's nearly impossible to tell the advertiser's intent post-hoc. while one could speculate about the commercial in question and provide some nice discussion related to cogsci, discussion != answer
the question could possibly be re-worded asking about a specific effect ("are brighter stimuli typically judged more positively than dark stimuli?") offering the commercial as incidental evidence
though as i said in my comment, i very much doubt this is the case here
