@StevenJeuris this concern occurred to me too. I've decided to cast delete votes on a few questions with upvoted answers, but I felt those answers mostly addressed misconceptions or inappropriate content in the question and added little of substantive value to our collection of theories on cognitive sciences. I certainly don't mind if those questions stay though; just erring on the side of zealotry for the sake of cleanup.

In the end what we want are proper 'basic' questions, and just refer to those as a source to point to when bad similar questions come in.
