mathematica.stackexchange.com/q/55292/121 had been closed as a duplicate of mathematica.stackexchange.com/q/7871/121 but reading both again I feel that there is sufficient separation between how do I and why does this to keep a second question. (continued)

I feel a little odd because mine is the Accepted answer in this disputed question and I do not wish to use moderator power inappropriately. Nevertheless my explanation of why N works the way it does would be out of place in answer to Mr Alpha's question about rounding unless his question is rewritten to include that. Does the community agree with my reasoning for reopening this or should a different action be taken?

p.s. this recent question is not about how to round as the post expressly includes that, but instead why N does what it does. It is therefore not a duplicate of 7871 but is a duplicate of 55292, which was my immediate motivation for reopening the latter.

Q: Alter Ego verry disgusting

There ist an alter ego Adolf Eichmann and a Question Arithmetic Progression that is verry disgusting an offensive. Is there a decent way to clean up such violations? I would like to exempt such bad jokes from SE.
