Still no 10.0.1? :-(
@AlexanderGruber I haven't seen it done, but it would be interesting. If you try to do it yourself, I'm curious how you approach the problem, as I worked on a MATLAB - Mma interface.

@Szabolcs They said mid August, but what made you think that that referred to 2014? ;-)

@SjoerdC.deVries I've gotten the idea people on all levels of the company tend to slip over-optimistic promises (or forge campaigns) of future versions. Sounds like pathological case of slipping software company deadlines, which often are first "fixed" by adjusting release quality criteria.
I think someone gave a hunch first bugfix release of v10 would have been out less than a month after initial release, and campaign behind v10 itself gave me an impression it was several months late from target. (Of course, I don't really know, just speculate.)

Dear all, I'm having an issue with the kernel quitting. Please, can you help me verify if this happens in your instance too? (Running MMA 10, Win 8.1) dosage = RandomVariate[NormalDistribution[0.004, 0.001], 1*^3];
dosage = RandomVariate[NormalDistribution[0.004, 0.001], 1*^3];
Histogram[dosage, PlotTheme -> "Detailed", AspectRatio -> 1/4]
(*Works Fine*)
Histogram[dosage, PlotTheme -> "Detailed", AspectRatio -> 1/4,
BarOrigin -> Top]
(*The kernel Local has quit (exited) during the course of an evaluation.*)

@PatoCriollo I know it's not going to help you, but it runs OK on v9, after removing the "PlotTheme" thing

Thanks Belisarius, just wanted to confirm with other v10 users before opening a ticket with WRI.
@Belisarius Cold in Capital?

@PatoCriollo No, very fine weather. 22C now

6:13 PM
@PatoCriollo It quits the kernel on MMA 10, OS X.

@Pickett thanks, bug reported

@PatoCriollo worked fine? Is this not how it is supposed to look? MMA 10, Win 8.1

8:22 PM
@brama hi! you'll see that the kernel quits :(

@PatoCriollo I get the same output as @brama, however I note that dosage remains blue and the In counter is 1 if I execute another line. Apparently, the kernel did crash indeed.
`Histogram[{1, 2, 3, 4}, PlotTheme -> "Detailed", AspectRatio -> 1/4,
BarOrigin -> Top]`
this one alone also kills the kernel

8:42 PM
@PatoCriollo yes....The kernel indeed quits!!

I noticed there is not many questions at all about using finite elements in V10 posted. I wonder if it is put to much use. I have not got to use it myself yet, but it looks nice.
