Guys quick question, How do I StringDelete full works:
a={"all","the","letters","delete","deleteWords"};
StringDelete[%, {"delete"}]

Gives me... "all","the","letters","Words"
Whereas I want... "all","the","letters","deleteWords"

@E3labs If you want to select words from a list that match (or do not match) a string-expression, you should rather use Select or DeleteCases.
In your simple example it would be
DeleteCases[a, "delete"]

@halirutan A book by Alan Agresti titled "Analysis of Ordinal Categorical Data" (wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0470082895.html) might have what you need.

Q: Our 'How to Ask' sidebar

m_goldbergIn this meta question, rhermans showed our current 'How to Ask' sidebar and commented: Current tips seems insufficient. I must admit that the sidebar had become invisible to me. Now that I have been made aware of it again, I could not agree more. In fact, I'd go a lot further and say I think it ...

Please vote on your favored proposal for the "How to Ask" sidebar text in that meta thread; I'll submit the highest-rated proposal to SE staff by Tuesday or so.

@JimBaldwin Uhh, that prize is steep :)
(esp. since this is not even a project of mine. It was a side question from a colleague)
