Hello,when I use you this button to make a code block directly
@halirutan
I will get such backslash,I need delete it by hand
Of course when I use the default button do this,the same phenomenon will appear,but can you help to improve this?

@yode The backslashes come from Mathematica when you copy the code and Mathematic thinks the line is too long and it needs to break it.
We don't touch this and yes, we don't remove the backslashes.
Btw, your first red arrow points to // which is not an artifact. You have typed it.

Oh, a error of my operation
But I have to say the backslash is ugly,
The current method to avoid it is copy as->plain text,then use this button

@yode But with "copy as plain text" (or Ctrl+Shift+C) you will loose the spaces between numbers as well. It will then look like this:
{0.363857,0.508791,0.397043,0.88267,0.00476051,0.916408,0.295997,0.321648,0.531288,0.085824}
instead of
{0.363857, 0.508791, 0.397043, 0.88267, 0.00476051, 0.916408, 0.295997, 0.321648, 0.531288, 0.085824}

Yes,and do you think that direct delete the backslash in the end of line will have any side effects?

@yode The best solution would be to have Mathematica handle this. You have seen that I asked about the GeneralUtilities`PrintDefininitions code reformatter. That would be a good way.
@yode Have you seen this:
<< GeneralUtilities`

With[{largeList = RandomReal[1, 20]},
 MakeFormattedBoxes[largeList] // DisplayForm
 ]
This results in an output that looks like that
{
	0.3627022794619723, 0.6589134527819547, 0.6993269324510085, 0.6492678529634064,
	0.7165120991100051, 0.5676651847594449, 0.6903004422400527, 0.9296491197875889,
	0.27741261875793666, 0.38469306888786226, 0.01172981359998393, 0.9545794982798728,
	0.5099825547857475, 0.2924000312000934, 0.6894655256605289, 0.3869001213934784,
	0.34225283126701345, 0.049106210410957196, 0.8926298481381234, 0.767062396833049
}

Same to GeneralUtilities`PrintFormattedCode

@yode With the difference that this won't insert hyperlinks to functions. Therefore it (almost) works on any code.

@halirutan Thanks very much.It help me a little. :)

@yode We should really consider creating another button for the SE Uploader that lets you copy a reformatted version of the selected cell.

Sad,I cannot use your SE uploader though I'm out of the firewall.I don't know the reason.

@yode Yes, that is very unfortunate. Could you solve your problem with imgur you asked a week ago?

3:25 AM
But I also cannot use the imgur with your code
Always error information like this:

@yode I'm very sorry that I cannot help you out. It is just not possible to track down what happens when I don't have this issue.

But a workaround of me here
@halirutan Oh,don't be sorry,thanks all the same still. :)

@yode Try the following:
Button["Copy Formatted Code",
 CopyToClipboard[
  ToString@DisplayForm[
    MakeFormattedBoxes @@
     MakeExpression[CurrentValue["SelectionData"]]]]]
Select a portion of code and press the button.
(The linebreaks are lost.. let me think)

@halirutan Wow,it works well.I test it some times just now.:)
You have a good grip on mma meta-programming.

@yode Let me ask a question on main so that others can figure out the details how to make this robust :)

@halirutan Thanks very much.

They really don't want us to use stylesheets...
SetOptions[EvaluationNotebook[], DockedCells -> Cell["TEST", "MyStyle"] ]
Now, edit notebook stylesheet and set MyStyle background to e.g. RGBColor[1,0,0]. Surprise, nothing happens because DockedStyle overwrites everything unless you put Background explicitly in Cell["Test,...]

If I have two blocks of text can are there some text analysis functions that can calculate a difference score? If so where are these in the documetation
I think I found them in the Distance and Similarity Measures under String Data. Is that correct?

@Edmund HammingDistance etc?

@Kuba Thanks, Kuba.

@andre You make valid points, but I don't think we can close a question just because we dislike the idea in it. So even if I grant that those problems exist, I still wouldn't take action to have the question closed.

And How Many Animals, Animal Heads, Human Faces, Aliens and Ghosts in Their 2D Projections? Introduction In my recent Wolfram Community post, “How many animals can one find in a random image?,” I looked into the pareidolia phenomenon from the viewpoints of pixel clusters in random (2D) black-and-white images. Here are some of the shapes [...]

@C.E. No problem.
@C.E. Just a precision : I have written "that's enough". I meant "that's enough to give a idea of my point of view" (and not "that's enough to close the question").

Challenge:
Can you construct an argument so that when we apply Map[f, #]& or Map[f] to it, the result will be different?

@Szabolcs Sequence[1, 1]
@Szabolcs arg /: Map[_][arg] := "result will be different"
