Assuming[(x | y) \[Element] Reals, Sum[1/((x - u)^2 + (y - v)^2), {u, 0, Infinity}, {v, 0, Infinity}]] crashes the kernel, at least in v10.1...

@Murta What's even more interesting is that the domain was registered in 2006, talk about foresight!

@Pickett What is interesting is that there's no sign of who's running it. Design would suggest WRI, but the site and domain information is devoid of details.

@kirma No I looked into the design and it's from Squarespace so I suspect that it's not coming from WRI's media department.

But the simple explanation is usually the true one... In this blog post from 2013 S.W. says that "Wolfram Language" has "recently" been used internally. The truth is probably that it has been used internally since 2006. So WRI is probably behind this.
