What does the register keyword do in C language? I have read that it is used for optimizing but is not clearly defined in any standard. Is it still relevant and if so, when would you use it?
@RobertHarvey I guess that either this is "directly related to SDLC" or close voters are really anemic lately. Not surprising that this is in HNQ and tells the world loud and clear, "this site is about roses"

@RobertHarvey it is possible that asker wanted to poll about what is the best way / tool to take notes and simply twisted their question to avoid immediate close. If this is the case, you see, the trick worked
