Hello @CristianCiupitu, yes I am in the UK, close to the southern coast by the Isle of Wight. Today it is quite mild - maybe 10C - but very grey.

@PeteH that isn't too cold for a bit of cycling, at least for me. Though I know an avid (road) cyclist who doesn't pedal in the winter here in Romania (~-5℃ - 7℃) and who was puzzled that I still used the bicycle.

Normally we have a few days at -26 C ish. but this year has been pathologically warm.

@batman, sorry 15C. My spelling is atrocious these days, one of the main reasons I stopped using chat. Although my eyes have got better over the last 6 months (my hand is still pretty buggered though)

But warm today, and showers. I didn't go out but managed a massive 5½km on the turbo. I really need to get into the habit of doing some every day. I'm starting to put on weight.

The turbo has a VR function - so it was like being part of Von Ryan's Ecpress (mountains, bridges etc., everything except Frank Sinatra)

Batman is in the northern US and suspendeduser is in Canada. Moz is in Australia and I'm in New Zealand so we're in balmy late-summer and bushfire season
