TIL there are dedicated cop bike models. They don't really look a lot different other than stickers though
I worry - are we going to see questions like "how do I ride comfortably in body armour?" or "can I damage my bike by hitting it with a tazer ?"
I do remember we've already had "how do i carry a handgun on a bike?"

Q: How to carry a concealed firearm on a bike?

Brian KnoblauchFor those of you that happen to cycle through rough neighborhoods and are able to do concealed carry of firearms... Wondering what you wear to conceal them that works well while cycling. Obviously the standard cycling outfit isn't going to do any good whatsoever... Various back/fanny packs see...

"best way to secure prisoners to a bike so they can't run off?"
"How to dub a prisoner back to the local cop shop on a bike?"
"how to transport evidence on a bike so it is not thrown out of court?"
"What's the best way to stop a car using a police bike?"
"Other offiers are jealous that l can wear shorts in summer when their uniforms are all long trousers - how to defuse ?" Though that one might be best on workplace.SE
sok- I've stopped now.

I'm slightly annoyed too - tried to order some CO2 cartridges off wiggle, but they won't ship them.
so instead of $1.50 NZ I have to pay $6 each from torpedo7

CO2 cartridges are hardly an explosion hazard.

yeah but they won't ship.
probably airline restrictions more than shipping restrictions
still - over 4x the cost, and that's still "cheap"
each cannister is $10-$12 at the LBS

4:20 AM
Yikes. Can you get them cheaper at a paintball supply store? Paintball handguns (not to return to the earlier thread) use the non-threaded (pun unintended) variety.

I've looked - they have 20 ounce bottles, or 88 gram cartridges.
The cooking ones are very expensive, because they use food-grade gas
yeah my pump head expects the threadded nozzle. Might just have to buy the lezyne ones.

That sucks, you'd think with global warming they'd want as much CO2 sequestered into bike jerseys as possible. :-P

6:07 PM
i've bought CO2 cartridges online
in the US
(From amazon)
