I have just performed a completely clean installation of Utopic from the daily ISO. After installation, however, I was unable to use the mouse buttons. The whole blob to replace is about 50 bucks. I haven't taken it apart yet. That's just how it looks from checking the parts outlets.

Read as: I could probably replace it now, but I pay lot rent annually. I haven't filed taxes in years. I'm a little behind on my savings target. I need to put myself back ahead of the curve. If I file 4 years of tax returns at once where they all owe me money, because I made less or had less dependents than they expected or have more deductible college debt than expected - it's like an odd savings plan.

it wasn't even code, it was pseudocode to reflect how i would approach the problem. it's not the same as what you are trying to do with the regex. you're trying to match all newline repetitions. i'm trying to find all pairs and iterate until there are no pairs.

it's one extra iteration for simplicity on three line pairs. so, simpler unless you have 20 lines of whitespace.

so, i just found something that irks me in bl2... which is hard, but it is doable

the spawn prevalence for mechromancer and psycho class mods - the paid classes - is higher than the prevalencce for unpaid classes - that is everything else.

From the perspective of personal projects, Flask is an advantage if you want just a simple page or two with dynamic content.

At that size, Django is probably overkill.

But for projects that require an ORM or consist of many more pages, Django starts to become a worthwhile investment.

Of course, to be completely fair, Flask can be used with ORMs like SQLAlchemy.

When comparing raw features, SQLAlchemy is more powerful than Django's ORM. It's also a lot more complex.

The thing I think I like about flask, but I'm not sure I'm in far enough to know yet, is that I only have to learn relevant blobs... where with django - I was having to learn loads of framework stuff and not getting anywhere productive.

It's not a complaint really. I will clearly state that I think django from someone that is intimately familiar with it is far superior, but that I also think that flask could probably do most of the lifting for which a lot of people use django without the learning curve.
