It is upsetting me how much duplicity in ideas is occurring for the app-showdown in conjunction with all "not you do it" re-work of previous projects being on topic
It seems to me like reworking an old idea is fine as long as you're not the progenitor of the idea

macdeployqt takes an application bundle as input and makes it

hi. i'm using ubuntu 12.04 unity 3d. I am having troubles to lock vlc to the left panel. It doesn't behave the same way other applications do. For example, (left) clicking on it doesn't bring it to front, but creates a new instance. Any way around that ?
hmm, from the errors it acts like it is already done from the qt creator, I'm going to the package the app as .dmg another way and see it it was all self contained.

Ok @GeorgeEdison the build i packaged with the qt developer won't receive files from linux or windows, good news is that the build that I made with Xcode worked perfectly
so I'll repackage that one, and post that, so the one @jrg has probably won't receive files

I've turned off my laptop while the update manager was installing ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Now when I try to boot into ubuntu the screen is only in blue and I can do nothing execpt to turn it off. Is there anyway to reinstall th OS using the downloaded files? Thanks!
In regards to this, Summer cleanup, feedback wanted, etc the jrg has eliminated questions tagged with bug.
I would like to request blacklisting of this tag, to begin now and to last until the End of Time Itself.
