@Hjorthenify comparing it to Doodle Jump... it's cuz the camera moves with you, and it's not 3D. Doodle Jump, camera doesn't move left or right, only moves the character

@IcyDefiance if that's true, that's cool. Anything's better than MonoDevelop (looking at Unity)

at this point, if you're making a game, you can get away with just compiling for x64

the only people still on 32-bit are probably running an ancient XP or Vista computer and have no interest in games

but then...perhaps we should check the steam statistics

@OMGtechy they're probably 64-bit too. pretty much any computer bought after the I7 was released is probably 64-bit.

if you have a 64-bit cpu I'm not sure why you'd install a 32-bit OS

32 bit is still the default for Visual Studio using C++

At work I discovered one of the machines I use has 16 physical cores and something somewhere between 100 and 200 GB of RAM (I'm guessing 128, but can't remember exactly)

so league of legends at low levels is horrible

if I was just starting to play now instead of in season 2, I would've quit after 10 games

aside from the game mechanics being completely screwed up because the game is balanced around high level play, there are trolls and afks in every. single. game.

it's not even the new players who die 10x in just as many minutes. they're fine. I've given pointers to a few of them and it's all cool.

it's when I get 5 games in a row with at least one afk on one of the teams, and a couple had 2 or 3 afks

that's just ridiculous
