You can adjust the day and night. I just keep it the same but slightly warmer

so there is no day night adjustment cycle thing

Kind of. by default it goes from normalish to warmer at night. I just adjust it to be warmer at all times.

when I tried it there were only two settings, one for how yellow the screen gets (but it's always somewhat yellow and looks like shit when playing a game) and one for whether it abruptly or gradually turns yellow

@MickLH I hated it at first, and uninstalled it. After my eyes were hurting from too much screen time. I used it again. Configured it to my liking and now I am done

A friend of mine has used that as long as I can remember, it burned into my head the first time I used the computer with it on

I personally just have a routine of turning down the blue (and green slightly) channel sometime before bed, and putting my cell phone face down

It's very easy to have shitty color with it, but if you mess with it you can get something that seems fine. And after 10 minutes your brain adjusts its own internal white balance and everything is fine again. Going back to normal, everything is blindingly blue

Make it more orange than is initially comfortable

Use it for an hour

then disable it and feel the pain of blue light again. Renable it and feel nice. There you go!

what you saw was 45 minutes of writing for me if we had a draft mode i would gladly use it but we do not. I agree it is important, next time ill try and write my answer elsewhere first and post once completed

As long as an answer isn't complete gibberish or terribly hard to follow I'm not too worried about that

But that's just my opinion on the matter

I always correct a couple spelling/grammar mistakes after posting, but it's usually pretty good when I hit submit

it shows a preview of your post as you type, so you can know what it looks like. and about the draft mode, if it takes too long to type then just copy the text into notepad, save it, and go back later.

I'm not gonna yell at anyone if they post a shit answer and then edit it into a good answer over the next half hour

I wouldn't even call MLM's edit to Joe's answer major... it's really minor stuff IMO

Some of it may be even opinion based on how it should be written :P

I'm saying perfection shouldn't be a priority and we shouldn't not answer questions if we haven't proof read our answers 60 times to be sure we didn't miss any mistakes

A good answer with bad grammar is far more useful than a bad answer with perfect grammar

I am not worried about posting and fixing. But hours, months after and it should be fixed - I am also talking about other questions and answers I have seen
