I may have missed how this happened, but in the scene with John and Jack captured in the ballroom, we see Jack take his knife and cut through his wrist ties, but I have no idea how John got free.

@Nobby just an aside, if you haven't seen Flight of the Pheonix, it is rather well done IMO.
Which kinda surprised me when I saw Die Hard cause it wasn't up to that snuff. He essentially could've made Flight of the Pheonix: Die Hard style with them trappe din Russia, just trying to get home, an akin to the first movie, it would've been stellar
instead they went with the action, which is alright, but not hte best hting.
I didn't go into Die Hard thinking I was seeing the next amazing action movie, or something to change the world. Your review hits every nail on the head honestly.

@DForck42 Yes, I did. There was a link to that on Hubble's Facebook page the other day. However, I don't think that's entirely accurate. Some of the cameras are really sensitive and I would be that those cameras would have trouble with the side of Earth that's in full daylight.
However, I'm not an astronomer, so it is possible I could be wrong. Now it is true that most of the cameras would have no problem. CCDs might have full-well issues, but that only affects the science value of the image, it isn't a health and safety issue.
