HELLO MY INTERNET FRIENDS!!!

Halloooo @steelersquirrel

@Catija Muahahahaha :P
@John HELLO! How are you?

I am OK. I think you are the most popular person in this chat room. All like talking to you.

I hate talking to her. She's awful ;)

Hehehe ^^

12:15 AM
Belly laugh

@John I don't know about that...I'm just around here a lot :)
I do know some people personally around here. Well, I guess just Napoleon ;)

@steelersquirrel Half of the people in here and Mos call you "mom"...

@Catija Hahaha! Right! My internet children! Those pesky teenagers ;)
I was up skiing on beautiful Mt. Hood all day today!!!
<searches for skiing squirrel pics> :P

You didn't take me Mom?!

Haha! Oh Lord...do I have another internet child? ;)

12:23 AM
@steelersquirrel Unfortunately most of them are water skiing, I already checked. ;-)

@NapoleonWilson YOU'RE HERE!!! OMG!!! Your internet is working again! I'm so excited!!
DANMIT! I need a squirrel snow skiing!! ;)

@steelersquirrel Yes, I can finally continue my film.

@NapoleonWilson Oh...by all means. Don't let us keep you ;)

@steelersquirrel Awww, don't worry.

12:26 AM
HAHAHA!! YESSSS!!!
That looked like me earlier right before wiping out :P

I've never been skiing.

That's ski jumping, though. I'd think she'd done more the Alpine style rather than Nordic.

Awwww. Well, you don't live in the best place for it ;)
@NapoleonWilson Nope. That's how I look going too fast over a mound right before wiping out ;)

Okay then.

Aren't you looking forward to skiing? ;)
Post wipeout ^^
Hehehe!
Do you ski @John? You live on the west coast, don't you?

12:32 AM
@steelersquirrel Awww, so coldycold, brrrr.

@steelersquirrel Yes... a long time ago. I may go again one day ... starting on the green slope.
I live in Monterey CA.

@John Cool!! Skiing is the best!
@John Well, I live in Oregon! We're neighbors!! :)

Very nice. You go into Canada much to ski?

No. Not much. I ski Mt. Hood.

Wuuut? Nick Nolte?

12:38 AM
What are you talking about?
Do you just have the urge to say "Nick Nolte" out of nothing? ;)

@steelersquirrel No, he was surprisingly in the film I'm watching.

@NapoleonWilson What are you watching?

Run All Night.

Oh, God. They're already having school closures for tomorrow :(

Q: Why did the Disease department develop the flare only to find that they have no cure and it goes out of control?

user44121If in the Maze Runner the Kill order, the Disease department developed a new disease to control the human population, wouldn't they have come up with a cure just in case?

12:49 AM
@NapoleonWilson Okay. Never heard of it. Are you watching this legally? ;)

@steelersquirrel Almost. ;-)
But it's really nice.

@NapoleonWilson How can you almost do something legal or illegal? That's like toast almost being toast. It's either toast or it's bread :P

@steelersquirrel Well, I can almost speed... if the speed limit is 70 and I go 69, that's almost speeding :P

If @NapoleonWilson watches with only one eye, he is almost watching it.

@Catija But you're not breaking the law until you go over the speed limit...you know, like I always do ;)

12:57 AM
Depending on the state, you're not "breaking the law" until you're going 10 over :P

@John Hahaha! Good point! I have physically been in the same room with Napoleon while watching a movie. He totally watches it with one eye :P

Because he only has one... dun dun dun!

@Catija Hehehe! Well, of course I would have no idea 0:)

They know your secret, Napoleon!!!!! ;)

1:06 AM
The cooperations between Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson seem to be really nice.

The sly changing of the subject proves the conspiracy theory.
2

I'm outta here. See you guys later :)

@steelersquirrel Have fun!

@John Napoleon is also a spy. Just sayin' ;)

@steelersquirrel You need to stop telling people that.
He's going to get caught.

1:09 AM
Indeed.

Take care. I never thought a chat room would have me cracking up.

@John Oh...you ain't seen nothing yet! Muahahaha :P
@Catija Hehehe! I know, right? I have completely blown his cover!

I'm leaving for the day as well. Good bye all.

Good luck!

@NapoleonWilson My dad is all excited because Blast from the past is on. Hehehe!

1:22 AM
@steelersquirrel Wut? He likes that?
I'm not sure I've ever seen it. My cousin is a big fan of that film, though.

@NapoleonWilson Are you kidding? That's his ideal situation. Being completely self contained in his own little world...not letting Kim and I be corrupted by evil outside forces ;)

I see.

Anyways. Have a good night.

Awww, you too!

Q: Looking for a movie about a group of people in abandoned city

Kiss MeI watched it in 2010. It's in English. Possibly Hollywood movie. Plot A group of people exploring an abandoned city. They're looking for a person. While exploring the city, they encounter many of strange creature. I remember they fight a ape-like creature, giant aquatic snake, giant bat, dino-l...

@MovieReel Wow we really got this one

user116211
@AJ yes; just yesterday Who is Savitar?

user116211
BTW, @ankit, I dreamt of Savitar last night; hmm; it was horror.

user116211
I was really too much thinking about him and that's why he came to terrify me in my dream; hmm T__T

Q: Can you please identify this British movie for me?

Yu ZhangI watched this movie around ten years ago. It was about a drug dealer in Britain, everyone speaks English with a British accent and British slang are used instead of American slang. This drug dealer is very close to retirement, but he is about to be given to the police by his boss, who is a i...

6:05 AM
Savitar is trying to lure you, he will make u meta

user116211
@AnkitSharma ;P

user116211
@MovieReel please some good title; don't you guys read the help center before jotting down the query?

A J
Ok what is this gaga over savitar?

user116211
@AJ Savitar is the God of Speed; the first man in Earth to get access to Speed by dint of Brahmastra the Philosopher's Stone.

A J
Oh

user116211
6:07 AM
And now he is after the Flash who has somehow in the future kicked his ass or sort of that.

user116211
There is an official betting going on over the internet who Savitar would be.

user116211
But I'm confused for he is a man from the past; although I can wait to check for the later episodes after the midseason break.

user116211
For me, he is a SpeedForce-Ghost.

I asked a question on Hinduism after taking inspiration from flash episode

Q: What is the story of Savitṛ deity?

Ankit SharmaWhat is the story of Savitṛ deity? I am really confused between him and Surya, are they related? As per Wikipedia: Savitr disappeared as an independent deity from the Hindu pantheon after the end of the Vedic period. But most of that wikipedia page made me more confused. So what does script...

user116211
@AnkitSharma good question; +1.

But as expected keshav know the answer
Keshav is skynet of Hinduism.se
But he answered in comments only

user116211
Just noticed.

user116211
@AnkitSharma indeed.

user116211
@AnkitSharma As he explicitly mentioned the term I was looking for Western Indologists.

6:16 AM
hmmm
He lives in US I think and still know a lot

user116211
@AnkitSharma yeh; and he is a physicist too.

Anyway he is a Lost TV show fan
He made me fall in love with lost

user116211
@AnkitSharma ohh; caught a few episodes; not so much interested due to lack of time.

user116211
I loved the way though how the writers invoked the myth of Savitar in the show starting from the Indus Valley.

For Lost, you need patience as they either don't answer the question or answer it with another question or answer it quite late
But that is the fun
@MAFIA36790 I still despise there decision to involve Brahmastra
@CW_TheFlash Did Brahmastra & philosopher stone merged intentionally, as both have different meaning @ARROWwriters @geoffjohns @AJKreisberg

user116211
6:21 AM
@AnkitSharma hmm; I am still betting the writers got inspired from the Ancient Aliens episode featuring the Brahmastra.

user116211
@AnkitSharma If they respond, make it a post here.

They will not

user116211
Philosopher's Stone and Brahmastra are totally and entirely different things.

2/3 HNQ are ID :/

user116211
hmm

user116211
6:27 AM
I thought only Barry is dumb, but the Flash writers are dumber ;/

user116211
Still I liked the episode, at least they could make Alchemy and Savitar more lively than ever in this season so far.

I don't mind Alchemy look but I dislike the look of Savitar.....way more then I dislike Guardian look

A J
They pick things from Hinduism without knowing these enough.

user116211
@AJ It all started from the comics.

user116211
6:39 AM
@AnkitSharma Costume? Was there anything to call it a costume? They got inspired from everything and meddled a hotch potch to finally make a mini-Megatron.

He sucks

user116211
Guardian, both from costume and everything, is bleh.

user116211
Both are disappointing.

user116211
But after the episode, I would love to see more from Savitar.

user116211
Finally it all ends with an Evil Speedster every season; hmm.

user116211
6:42 AM
With the exception of Thawne, both Zoom and Savitar have the same goal ;/

user116211
I wanted something new this season; but okay.

Me too
Same old faster evil speedester stuff is bit boring now

user116211
I would say it's more Arrow and LoT this season.

Anyway someone came back in Arrow- spoiler alert

user116211
6:59 AM
Did you already watch it?

user116211
Is it Roy Harper?

@AnkitSharma Would I create a tag for the tv show Survivor with "survivor tv"?
I'm here!! :)

No need to add -tv
WE only add TV in case of confusion

Okay :)

7:25 AM
So new question on the way

Yes! Thanks to being forced watching Survivor with my dad tonight ;)
I just have to do some research. Ugh.

lol
I did watched US version of Survivor and Indian too but not my kind of show
I think I have seen Australian version too or maybe few other non US countries too

My whole family is obsessed with it. My husband was as well. I never really got into it, but I would watch it just because he would. It's the same reason that I watch it with my dad ;)

I will prefer Big boss/brother over it
I can't see people eating raw meat
That's why I avoid fear factor too where they eat living insects etc

Yeah. They do some nasty things on that show.

user116211

In Man Vs. wild, you can find your urine as edible too ;/

user116211
Reindeer's eye boiled in hot spring... uff.

user116211
I still wonder why there is no show featuring a vegetarian who survives over the conditions.

I have enough money to buy water to drink,....even beer
no need to go for urine

user116211
What would happen to a vegetarian?

he will die :P

user116211

Sorry. I was posting my question :)
How come I can approve tag wikis, but mine still have to be approved?

You need 20k rep for non approval edits

user116211
In Man vs. Wild, he also ate squirrel cc @steelersquirrel.

But, I can approve others?
@MAFIA36790 I know! Pfft!

8:06 AM
Oh, I see. I can only approve edits. I understand!

@steelersquirrel Nice question +0, as I have no votes left ;D blame Interstellar

Q: Why is the winner still awarded $1 million U.S.dollars?

steelersquirrelWhen Survivor premiered on May 31, 2000, the grand prize offered to the winner was $1 million U.S. dollars. Survivor is now in it's 33rd season after airing for 16 years and still offers the same grand prize of $1 million U.S. dollars to the winner. According to this article from 2012, the winn...

@deostroll Not checked yet

Hello @Walt.

@Randal'Thor Missed it, sorry. Nice one
@AnkitSharma It's weird how it's funny in GIF form but didn't make me laugh originally :/
@MAFIA36790 Hey. Can't contribute anything to an Arrow chat, m'fraid

user116211
You don't need to. We were just roasting Savitar :)

@MAFIA36790 Oh. Is... that another superhero? :S
@DrRDizzle Yes, AD's only three seasons are good

user116211
10:20 AM
@Walt Huh; he claims to be the God of Speed getting power from Brahmastra aka the Philosopher's Stone. For me, he is a SpeedForce-Ghost.

<Google> Aha, he's a supervillain! With some aluminum foil glued to his face or something

user116211

> on the Julian front, they really are leaning hard on the Harry Potter connections, aren’t they. The Draco Malfoy similarities were already pretty obvious, and now he’s rambling on about the Philosopher’s Stone? Next we’ll find out his archaeology assistants were named Crabbe and Goyle.

10:25 AM
@Walt you can throw any random topic on our face ;)

@Walt I'll go to bat for the fourth season. It tried something new and didn't always work, but Gob's Roofie loop, Tony Wonder and a lot of the little jokes really worked for me.

@AnkitSharma Nothing on topic comes to mind. :S I finished Black Mirror 3 recently. It's an interesting show, but not without its pitfalls

"Have you ever even been on a plane you piece of shit?!?"

@Walt Only seen first 2 season and liked it
@Walt On topic O.o, we hardly talk about on topic stuff here

@DrRDizzle Sorry, I remember very few quotes and storylines because I never rewatched. It just depressed me
@AnkitSharma It's very well made, but some of the plots are too linear and predictably fatalistic
@DrRDizzle I didn't even like the Christmas special as much as you. :O It was nice, but some of it didn't make sense

10:30 AM
@Walt hmmmmm

@DrRDizzle I'd also argue that rather than trying something new, they were just stuck with a format that was forced on them
@AnkitSharma Oh, I can do off topic! Um. Someone gave me some ginger and mint soda and it was disgusting. It was like drinking fermented toothpaste

eewwww

user116211
@Walt Why would anyone do that? hmm

@Walt "White Christmas", you mean? It messed with my mind.

@MAFIA36790 I mean, all these ingredients are cool apart, but not in the same bottle

10:42 AM
@Walt I never rewatched either, but that's just because I rarely rewatch a TV series.
@Walt You're not wrong, but still. I admire their dedication, and I hope that if we ever do see a season 5 (I think it's on the cards) they manage to get the full cast back at the same time this time.

@DrRDizzle Wow, the ones I really like I've seen... let's just say a lot, lest you'd have me committed
@DrRDizzle There was a 4 already? Where was I
@DrRDizzle Oh, you mean AD, not BM

@Walt Yeah, my bad.

@DrRDizzle Mine, actually ;)
@DrRDizzle Sure, they're all extremely talented. Which is why I was so disappointed, I guess

@Walt I'm rewatching Peep Show for the second time now with my girlfriend, and I've seen the first season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine twice. Oh, and I've watched all of Red Dwarf multiple times.
But in general, I rewatch films much more than I rewatch entire seasons of TV.

user116211
@DrRDizzle Brooklyn nine-Nine? s3 is going, right?

10:46 AM
@DrRDizzle Nice. Initiating someone is always a good excuse for a rewatch

@MAFIA36790 I think so, but I only watch when it hits Netflix.

@DrRDizzle I rewatch both. To me they're like great songs or a yummy dish. Why stop at one

@Walt I'd forgotten how... not bad, by any means, but substandard in comparison to the rest of the show that the first season of Peep Show is.

I might start Westworld

Q: Song name which shows abandon fair

Dinesh PundkarI want to know the name of english song. Whole song is picturised in anbandon fair. One thing I remember that is this song is sung by some polish band.

10:49 AM
@Walt Well, rewatching a film takes 1.5-2.5 hours in general. Rewatching a TV series can take months.

@DrRDizzle months Not the way I do it :P Rebinge with the rest of us

I don't remember re-wathcing any TV show
Only rewtached when I have seen it non linearly

@AnkitSharma OK, I guess I'm alone at this ;)

@Walt Are you following westworld

I'm actually struggling to think of a show that I really liked and didn't rewatch
@AnkitSharma Decided not to, for now

10:52 AM
@Walt any reason

@AnkitSharma I dunno, reception was kinda lukewarm at first, so I didn't bother. Maybe it improved, or will do so in season 2. I might join in, it's a somewhat interesting concept

k
I don't have empty slot but the hype making me think about it

A graph plotting the quality of Westworld episode by episode is a deep valley.
Starts off high, plunges down for most of its episodes and then jumps back up at the end.

Enough for me to hold it for now

I'm actually trying to count the shows I rewatched all the way through. It's more than 20 so far :O
I'm guessing the final tally will be 30-40
@DrRDizzle Hmm, that's not good news. I like me some meat

10:58 AM
@Walt In all seriousness, how do you find the time? Between my job and my other hobbies I barely have time to watch TV currently airing, never mind series that I've missed or ones I've seen before.

@DrRDizzle It's not healthy, is it? :( And I work like around the clock

@DrRDizzle he is skynet, he don't need to watch anything. Just need to feed it into his memory

@DrRDizzle Some of them are 20 minute sitcoms, though

Anyway, here is everyone's now daily reminder to see Moana.

@AnkitSharma Sure, and there's that. <vvvloop> I just rewatched Samurai Jack. Let's go to the tag, hopefully some unanswered's there

11:01 AM
@Walt Don't know if you're joking or not, but Samurai Jack is great.

@DrRDizzle It's was alright. But I stopped watching at some point
@DrRDizzle Is that a Dixar?

Samurai Jack had few good episodes , rest it was bleh

@MovieReel Wut

@Walt No, just Disney. Walt Disney Animation Studios.

@AnkitSharma It was getting kinda repetitive
@DrRDizzle Just asking if it's Disney that's really Pixar. ;) There's a lot of that going on

11:06 AM
@Walt agreed

@Walt Given the sheer quality of the thing, I'd hazard a guess at yes. It's certainly better than the last few Pixar films.

Hmm, a new Top Chef started and I didn't even notice. There's apparently already a controversy about filming in some plantation
@DrRDizzle I'm fairly convinced they just switched crews
@DrRDizzle Will you be reviewing it?
@DrRDizzle The ep where he falls in love with someone and she turns out to be Aku was creepy as hell. Was that a thing? Or did I dream it

@Walt not seen it
or maybe I forgot

@DrRDizzle I mean, I mentioned rewatching Fawlty here not long ago. That's literally just 6 hours
That Mummy trailer looks as generic as they come. Not sure the gritty reboot formula will work there

11:26 AM
@Walt I will be, and it will be pretty glowing.
@Walt Madness.
The being said, I spent four and half hours playing Overwatch last night. I'm pretty sure you could watch all of Fawlty Towers in that time.

@DrRDizzle See, that I can't get. (Not a gamer)

@Walt Fair enough. The only reason I'll ever play a game for that long in one sitting is if I'm either a) fully engrossed in the story (exceedingly rare, and not applicable here because Overwatch is multiplayer only) or b) if I'm playing with my friends (which is applicable here). It's as much a social thing as it is a gaming thing for me.

@DrRDizzle As a social activity, sure, I could relate to that. But sitting alone for hours in front of these things... I haven't done that in a long, long time

Dec 4 at 14:59, by Ankit Sharma
I hate this film already

@AnkitSharma I swear they recycled that plane scene from some MI3 footage or something

11:39 AM
@Walt Have you ever been a gamer?

Dec 4 at 15:01, by Ankit Sharma
Tom Cruise + remake of a remake of a remake is enough to make me hate it

@DrRDizzle Not really. I played some games as a kid (I liked Quests especially), but who amongst us hadn't

Dec 4 at 15:09, by Ankit Sharma
Without Rachel Weisz nothing can be same. I watched The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor in theater without realizing absence of Rachel Weisz. Film was ultra-lame

@AnkitSharma <Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor> I'm fairly sure you just made that title up on the fly. Which is pretty impressive

So I will become dizzle and forecast that Mummy reboot will be a bad film

11:42 AM
There wasn't a third Mummy film.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a 2008 American action-adventure fantasy film and is the third and final installment in the Mummy trilogy. The film stars Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, Maria Bello, John Hannah, Luke Ford, and Michelle Yeoh. The film was released in the United States on August 1, 2008. The film was directed by Rob Cohen, written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and produced by Stephen Sommers (director of the previous two films), Bob Ducsay, Sean Daniel, and James Jacks. This film is set in China, departing from the previous Egyptian setting. == Plot == In ancient China, a brutal...
@DrRDizzle there was with different actress and different villain and with bad script and bad acting

Nope, sorry, that's a common joke on the Internet. But there was no third film.

The Mummy is the title of several horror-adventure film series centered on an ancient Egyptian priest who is accidentally resurrected, bringing with him a powerful curse, and the ensuing efforts of heroic archaeologists to stop him. These three series of films accompany a spin-off film series, two comic book adaptations, three video games, an animated television series, and a roller coaster ride. == Universal Monster Films series (1932–1955) == The original series of films consisted of five installments which starred iconic horror actors such as Boris Karloff (only in the original one, as Imhotep...
@DrRDizzle not heard that joke
Even the spinoff The Scorpion King, have 3 sequels

In a way, it's a shame they never made a follow up to The Mummy Returns. Ah well.

@AnkitSharma OK, you didn't have to go to the length of creating an entire Wiki page just to support that joke, but I still appreciate the effort

11:45 AM
Yeah, there is such a thing as "taking it too far" Ankit.

@DrRDizzle there was something better in animation

The Universal Monsters series is a shared universe of action-adventure/horror films that includes rebooted versions of films from the original series. The films are being developed and distributed by Universal Studios and are currently in various stages of development. In October 2013, Roberto Orci spoke to IGN, hinting that both The Mummy and Van Helsing reboots will have a shared universe. New developments were made in July 2014, when Universal announced that they had tapped Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan to develop all classic movie monsters, which include Frankenstein's monster, Count Dracula...

I already know about that, which seems dumb. Apparently, Dracula Untold (?) is what started it off.

@DrRDizzle I though Dracula Untold had the fate of green lantern, they are not going to count it

@AnkitSharma Only it seems to center around the villains? That sounds like fun :/

> In December 2016, Kurtzman confirmed in an interview with Collider.com that Dracula Untold would not be part of the universe's continuity canon.
@Walt but they have Tom Cruise :/
On the sidenote I did like Dracula Untold
Maybe I am partial to Luke Evans

@AnkitSharma Yeah, but the movie's not called The Tom Cruise. :P Their focus will just seem weird, is what I'm saying

@Walt Tom Cruise can be there Robert Downey Jr. to set up there universe

11:56 AM
Yeah, the Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe (UMCU) may well end up being the first cinematic universe to outright fail.
(Probably won't be any worse than the DCEU though, so at least it's got that going for it).

@DrRDizzle ufff stop being so MARVELish

@DrRDizzle I can see some of them making it big, but I don't get how this is a movie series

@AnkitSharma As soon as the DCEU start releasing good films, I will.
Until then...

The Universal Monsters thing is the awfullest idea of a fuckin' "shared cinematic universe" I've heard yet. When I have to read bullshit like "Untitled Bride of Frankenstein film" I want to throw up right into their faces. ;-(

@AnkitSharma I only remember him from the Hobbit films

11:59 AM
@Walt He's mesmerising in High Rise.

@Walt he do mostly small roles

@NapoleonWilson Oh wow, I think this may be the strongest opinion Napoleon has ever had.
