Q: How did walking dead characters get cured?

ManuelI remember in last (maybe previous two) season that Glenn, Sasha and a few others were infected with some type of illness and that they were still sick even when the governor attacked them. How were they healed? I remember Hershel was helping them out before he got beheaded. Was that what finall...

Q: What's the word for an actor not getting a part in a movie?

GwenKillerbyWhat's the word for an actor not getting a part in a movie?? It's like some verb, it starts with an S. It's not scooped, but something like that. There's an entire website about actors getting replaced by other actors, I think it has this word/concept as the name and it's driving me nuts that I...

Q: Looking for a television ad

Cold ConfusionNow this might seem odd but I am a fan of well done advertisements. Recently I saw an ad that I really liked but looking for it on the Internet I can not find it despite my best attempts. The main plot of this ad was that a business man was running around performing spy tactics like cutting windo...

Q: Looking for an old puppet show with squirrels/chipmunks?

user15373Does anyone remember an old puppet show with squirrels/chipmunks? You could visually see their strings. All of the characters had big fluffy cheeks. One of the characters was named Tippo or something similar and in one episode he has a toothache from eating too many sweets and has nightmares wit...

Q: Older movie with a device that records dreams

Shorty_sxSo this was a rather odd, serious movie, probably from around the 90s. The one distinct feature I remember was that about half way or so, the main characters move to a bunker-in-the-desert type environment. There, one of them (a woman if I remember correctly), uses this device able to visualize...

Q: Movie with quote: Do you know (how to) play harp? ... If you keep pushing, you will end up learning

sytechieI don't remember name or plot of the movie, except for a dialogue between main character and and another man (who keeps annoying), so the first man warns him in a sarcastic way, Main: Do you know (how to) play harp? Another: No (or something similar) Main: If you keep pushing, you will end up ...

Q: François Truffaut - Los 4 Golpes

Timothy PersoonYesterday I went to see a screening of Truffaut's La sirène du Mississipi (aka Mississippi Mermaid). It's prelude was a short film called Los 4 Golpes and it was also directed by Truffaut, but I can't seem to find any info whatsoever except on the site of the filmfestival where I saw it. !!!Begi...

@MovieReel This is probably the classiest question we've ever had
I didn't understand it much, but I like it

@MrLore "This is probably the classiest question we've ever had" - Uh...and that is...because...?

@ChristianRau It's actually about a real artistic film rather than someone looking for a vaguely pornographic movie, plus despite being fairly old (the director died 30 years ago), there really doesn't seem to be information about the film out there

@MrLore Wait, you meant "classiest identification question"? That indeed would seem a bit more understandable.

Q: What was Bob blubbering about?

Johnny BonesIn this week's episode of The Walking Dead, towards the end of the episode Bob started, in my mind, acting funny. He seems more emotional, and finally goes outside and starts crying while leaning up against a tree. Does anyone know what caused this emotional breakdown? Was it a near-death expe...

Q: Man raised by immortals to kill them

Robert LuggCan you help identify this movie? I saw it in the 1970's or 1980's, I believe on TV. A civilization somehow became immortal. It turns out they didn't like it. So several of them "raised" a killer through many generations of selection with they intent that he kills them. The killer was (a ban...

@MattD Well, it seems like a genuine attempt to answer the question and does try to reason why, even if that could deserve more detail. That comment at the end is probably more of an insecurity disclaimer than a real question. You're maybe not completely wrong and it might have worked as a comment, too, but it also might work as a (bad) answer. What you're definitely not wrong with is the fact that the answerer's response was quite an asshole-reaction, though.

Q: Did Neil lie to Mr Keating in Dead Poets Society?

shortstheoryIn the part where Neil breaks the news to Mr Keating (in a classroom) that his father, although reluctant, would let him play in the show, Mr Keating is overjoyed and asks him if he had told his father exactly what he had told him the previous night (the previous night Neil goes to Mr Keating's r...

Q: Why did Tomas have to die?

Napoleon WilsonIn the Breaking Bad episode "Half Measure" (S03E12) Jesse tries to kill the two dealers who killed Combo using Andrea's little brother Tomas. But as soon as Gus gets behind this he intervenes and apparently only by Walt's pleading lets Jesse live. He tries to arrange peace between Jesse and the d...
