I would suggest that dba.stackexchange.com should be closed and the contents migrated to StackOverflow. That would resolve the dilemma, with no apparent downside.
When Great Britain was part of the Roman Empire, it was ruled by an Emperor. When Great Britain became a Kingdom, it was ruled by a King. Now, alas, it's a Country.
End of an era today. I just dismantled the last of the HP's in preparation to take them down to the dump. These machines were still working just fine at nearly 10 years of age - most of them were manufactured in 2006/7. R.I.P.
@TomV I think the old '90s-era Deskpros were really good machines. Tool-less disassembly, good fit-and-finish, all the edges burred so you don't cut yourself. The fit-and-finish of the XW9300s reminded me of that.
I've still got a couple of small-footprint desktop HP's along with my thinkpads - a Z200 and a Z210. I'd happily use a Z800/820/840 if I had one. However, I can do ETL development on a thinkpad with a SSD thesedays.
@mods, I've just flagged this comment as obsolete. In fact, I thought it had to go with the other deleted comments. But it's now occurred to me that it may have been left as some kind of response to the other comment, so I'm not sure now and no longer feel strongly about my flag.
