10:05 AM
@rumtscho never heard of them.

1 hour later…
11:10 AM
@mien you can hear them play, actually - they are playing in Brussels on Wednesday evening
Amsterdam on Tuesday, if @Cerberus is interested. They will be in the States end of this month.
I would recommend them, they are really good.
But I must say that I liked them because I like psychedelic. They are not heavy at all. Not even hard rock.
By the way, one reason I liked them so much was that they had no stage show. Just a few guys in T-shirts sitting in a semicircle playing. No flashy stage-image. No solos to show off. It was all about the music. I had my eyes closed most of the time and let it work through me. Very different from other concerts.

WEEKEND!!! Let the partying begin.

@mm24 I think the larger category of "cheese" really is what it says on google's definition: A food made from the pressed curds of milk. The curds can be from acidification due to bacterial action, added acid (like vinegar or lemon juice), or enzymes such as rennet. If the whey is removed, and the product is made from the curd, that is a cheese (this is why yoghurt is not a cheese, the whey has not been removed). Some cheeses are then aged, others are not.
Still, all of these things are cheeses in the view of most of the world.
Queso blanco (), along with other similar cheeses including queso fresco (), is a creamy, soft, and mild unaged white cheese, commonly used in the Iberian Peninsula and in several American countries, including Mexico. The name queso blanco is Spanish for "white cheese", but similar cheeses are used and known throughout the world by different names. It is sometimes made by pressing the whey from cottage cheese, but more often it is made by heating whole fresh milk to near-boiling, adding an acidifying agent such as vinegar, stirring until curds form, then draining the curds in cheesecl...
Another example of an unaged cheese.

@violapadrile I know you have chatted before with Jefromi--hopefully this will trigger the alert for you.

5:13 PM
Am I in chat?
yes, jefromi called me, but I never did it more

Yes, you have arrived.

ok lol =)

Its just not good to have many, many comments on a single question or answer. It gets confusing.

Yes im very sorry
thank you to teach me about chat

One of the moderators will clean up the comments, I am sure.
I know you have done chat before :-)

5:18 PM
I had mine yet

je ne comprends pas

Jefromi called me

Ah :-)

I have deleted my comments before

Someone already cleaned them up... perhaps Jefromi.

5:19 PM
who's here then?

Its hard to tell... the icons on the upper right show who has been recent.
It looks like just you and me right now.

yes ty i saw them

That is a picture of one of my cats.

woowwww =)
i breed cats ;-)

What kind?

5:22 PM
time ago perses - now just cats from the road

Rescued cats?

mmm found on street?
yes they are

I would think you would not want feral cats to breed. My cats are all neutered.

of course =)
but when i had perses it was so sweet to get the babies

I don't need any kittens. Four cats is more than enough.
Persians?

5:25 PM
4 cats also =)

That is a Persian cat.

yes mine couple were cream and black
somewhere i have some pictures

I have one Maine Coon, and three regular non pedegreed cats.

wooowww they are fantastic
ok well, all the cats lol

Yeah, they are pretty cool. But they never wash the dishes.

5:28 PM
ahahahahh
une lavavesseille? no?

I have a dish washer. But the cats will not load it. Or empty it.

their joob is to be so beautiful ;-)

They do no work at all.

true

You are living in France?

5:33 PM
No, i was living in Italy and now I am in Barcelona
I spent much time in France btw

Your profile said France....
Why is an italian in spain?

Italy -> France -> Spain
because of family
and you?

Well, I guess you can eat tapas
I live in Maryland which is where I went to school.

id never been there

I have never been to Europe. Its far away. :-) And I hate airplanes.

5:37 PM
it would be beautiful

Some parts, like most places.

Unfortunately now i have to go to Milan and so im back and forward Italy-Spain

You don't like Milan?

without airplanes it couldnt be possible
I dont like to go every month here and there
but
i miss french though

They can cook but they are kind of snooty.

5:40 PM
just i look it on the ariplane window lol
i adore em
but i agree lol

They make the best pastry.

yes
pastry in spain is mmmmm

Chinese and italians make the best savory food. And barbeque.

not so good
oh no french cusine is spectacular

Its okay, too much wine and mushrooms.

5:43 PM
France and Italy are similar into it = they have so many regions and so different from each other
but every fantastic
what you do know what we say about french wine?

Give me a glass of california red?

lol no

No, I have no idea what Italians say about French wine.

wine allows to french people to survive on their diet

That doesn't make very much sense to me.

5:46 PM
their favourite food, in ordinary daly diet, are butter potetoes and wine

And mushrooms. Yuck.

Northern italians eat lots of butter, and southern France uses a lot of olive oil.

not so much as in the past, but yes

Americans get to steel cuisine from everywhere. Our pizza is better. Don't tell the italians!

5:48 PM
ahahahah
one day i will come to taste it lol
but well, we get hard to get a good "pizzeria"

There are many bad pizza places, and very few great ones, that is true.

nowaday the most of "pizzaioli" are chino

But like the Irish say, the worst whiskey I ever had... was wonderful.
Chino?

the cooks are from china
ost of them

In the us, most line cooks in restaurants are from Brazil or Argentina I think.

5:50 PM
most of cooks lol

Then you should get lots of good Chinese food.

Here where I live we have good Thai, Chinese, Burmese, and so on from immigrants.

yes here too

Now I want Thai food. Crispy duck with basil. Yum.

5:51 PM
seems good =)

My cat is unimpressed. I cannot get up until she moves.

its on your legs?

More my stomach, she is laying across me.

mine live all their lives on my keyboard lol

They have learned no keyboards, mostly.

5:53 PM
wow how could you do it?
they dont want to learn

Pick them up, put them on the floor. 10,000 times.

....

Cats are still smaller than people. Or they would eat us.

very true
no they are too delicate for our flavour

I don't think cats have cultural rules about what they are allowed to eat.

5:56 PM
no, they want just ONE to what they are used
(sorry for my english btw)

I give mine a variety for that reason.

lucky you

Its better than my Italian, which is limited to "boccotini amatricciana"
And my French, I have not practiced for 30 years, after school. So I make no comments.

uh?
ok iv learn english on internet, you can imagine lol

You learned english from the Internet? That is very impressive.

5:59 PM
yes, iv studied germany at school, french and spanish on the road and english on internet
so you have to forgive me =)

That is amazing. I could not learn Spanish or Italian from the internet.
Not without many, many many hours of studying, and I am linguist by training, sort of a little bit.

of course, everyone speak english on internet
you are forced to learn it
or you are dead

There is no internet in French, italian or german? I doubt that.

though my english is horrible, i have to take it more seriously
yes there is, but everyone speak english
italians to italians too
streng, isnt?

I don't know. English tends to be the world language for a number of historical reasons.

6:03 PM
true
it is very simple, because you can talk to everyone on the world

I am lucky to be a native speaker.
But everyone wants to talk to us. Talk, talk talk talk :-)

im a writer (but not in english) so i agree with you and disagree

That was a joke.

mmm Mryland, 6h from NY, and from you? what time is there?

It takes about 5 h from where I live to NYC. It is 2:05 in the afternoon now.

6:06 PM
11 h?
no, i meant the distance from GMT
in hours

UTC -5, maybe UTC-4 in the summer.

Same.

ok then now is it .... 9am?

No, it is 14:10

6:08 PM
