asking manufactures is fun... "why does part x exist, what can I do with part X that I can not do with part Y" ..... answer " please specify parameters and quantity"

@PlasmaHH If you don't already know, then you're not the guy they designed that part for.

@ThePhoton yep, electronics, one of the many fields where you should already know everything before considering asking a question

@PlasmaHH What I mean is, they might add a spec that's helpful for some particular market segment, like "people designing cell phones" or "people designing high-power ampflifiers" or whatever. If you aren't one of those people, you won't understand why that spec is important. And you don't have to. And you probably shouldn't expect them to spend time explaining it to you.

@ThePhoton then they should not have answered at all, or said that, but they clearly did not at all read my mail and responded with a standard "please specify what parts do you want" template.
