@Brasidas 2016 was a very bad year. That is the Sub-Etha Sens-O-Matic peril-sensitive search filter, protecting your mental state by not showing you distressing things.

My best guess is that this happens to be question #2016. If I click on its "share" button, 2016 appears in the link URL. So that's why a search for that number takes you to that question.

What I'm not sure about is if, once we get a few questions actually about 2016, a search on that will look like those others, or still take you to straight to question 2016.

I can't even come with a good question for any year, so trying to put 2016 there would be a nice challenge :)

I was originally searching if there was a question recaping 2016 year in terms of History, if there had been any important discoveries and such. But I don't think it's on topic though, sounds to much to archaeology.
