@PaulVargas Mod privileges in chat are network-wide. Jack is a moderator on dba, so he has the same privileges as mods here do. It actually doesn’t have to do with him being a former mod here.

@Davïd (just because he seems to be the fount of answers to random questions around here. Other input welcome.) Who puts the close quote on the bottom line? Is it all of mainland Europe? I'm trying to figure out who wrote something (typed, in (mediocre) English) using those. I have a suspicion (for unrelated reasons) that it's an Italian, but I'm curious how broad my choices are.

@Susan I'm sure I've seen that somewhere, but Wikipedia's all-language summary table only show low openers, not low closers (assuming I'm understanding the situation correctly).
