@BruceAlderman The Entire Sanctification/Holiness message is in it's essense is that one can live a pure, blameless life this side of the veil. Those, from Polycarp onward, saw it as a function of grace, and not the result of one's personal effort, and in this regard has been espoused by every major denomination; that the Holy Spirit is the sanctifier, leading the faithful from "glory to glory".

@BruceAlderman The conflict comes when one makes it their 'pinnacle' achievement, at the expense of everything else the Holy Spirit does in a believer's life.

I added the fifth vote to re-open this question, but I'm still not quite happy with it. "How credible?" seems pretty vague. Is the answer 40%, 60%?

On the other hand, I thought about editing to be something more along the lines of asking for evidence. But the question already links to a detailed site trying to establish the link, and my sense was the asker is trying to gauge how credible the linked material really is.

So maybe asking simply "What influence did Enki and Ninhursag have on the writing of Genesis 2 and 3?" might get better answers? I realize I'm kind of talking to the void here.
