yes i got to do some prior r&ds but still feels like a blank page, just received a 'go' with the project

have a call with the client, hopefully that'll clarify most things

yeah I also have a semi new project :) came in yesterday and I am happy to say it was the BEST project overview discussion requirements thing ever here

you have experience with .net i suppose?

whats a good html parser? do you know HtmlAgilityPack?

how are you attacking the propblem

well i am thinking of building an importer tool in .net webforms using C# which shall read the xhtml files and seperate the content that defines a single page in typo3... later i will insert this page directly into the database, maintaining every possible relationship with other typo3 pages and templates

obviously there are more to it, like handling content formatting, linking images, managing inter links, references, page parents, menu entry, column formatting, css issues etc etc... these never stop lol

I haven't worked with InDesign at all, so you are exporting the InDesign documents to html

@RowlandShaw i'd wipe them out, they're terrible questions that just reference something else. we need to talk to the user though, he doesn't seem to understand how SE works in general
