I guess it's a bit like a doctor admitting himself to hospital. He probably knows what's wrong, but has to see the triage nurse and have his vitals taken before he can see a doctor.

I'm told that doctors can make for the worst patients. I guess "power users" make for most of the headaches too.

@ThunderFrame Reminds me of what I read back in my psychology class. Apparently, most medical students admit themselves to the hospital because they think they have a really serious disease.

I have a power user in my office. Refuses to use Option Explcit, deploys code that doesn't compile. Blames VBA.

@ThunderFrame The doctors that I worked with, any time they had a doctor as a patient they'd get him/her out as fast as they could. Even to the point of delaying other patients...

Q: Retrieving database values through properties

I have a “Settings” table which I make frequent DlookUp calls to retrieve values. So I thought instead of having to write Nz(DLookup("FieldName", "TableName", "Condition"), vbNullString) everytime I needed the value, why not wrap it in a property in a standard module. Public Property Get ActiveK...
