@AJHenderson Good day. I am about to order softbox but there are those:

As you see, both are same but what different is brands. I asked seller and he says that the latter though is more expensive but popular. If it's only brands that different then I better take cheaper one because 'no-name brands' mean nothing to me but if it's about better materials, then I would get

@RussellMcMahon - Read please: photo.stackexchange.com/help/privileges/comment and note that Moderators and Community Managers on all the sites will clean these up after a while. Comments are not for answers or chat, though try not to get worked up too much, I do leave most comments around as is pretty evident if you spend a few seconds to look.

odd, not sure why that link editing didn't work
@Boris_yo the second one appears like it may be stronger material based on what I can see, but neither looks particularly sturdy to me. As for 40mm vs 50mm, it depends entirely on how large the things you are shooting are
and still keep in mind that you would need to use constant output lighting with something like that (or a few large reflectors to redirect sunlight in to it from several angles). Softboxes are really designed to take similar lighting on 3 sides, not strong side lighting from one side

I thought 40cm versus 50cm mean the difference in lighting. It is not?

Also I shot small items like 10cm - 15cm in lengthso 40cm would be sufficient? There was one guy who bough 16-inch softbox and complained it was small because this measure is for whole softbox while inside measures are smaller.

@Boris_yo the size just impacts how big of a box it is

@AJHenderson Would you take 40cm then given you worked with item dimensions I mentioned?

@Boris_yo not sure, I don't have enough experience working with them
I'd guess 40 is probably sufficient, though 50 may give more diffused light potentially (but also take more to light)
40's probably ok though

Thanks
I am going to shoot on balcony. I will put it on a table.
