A year or two ago, we had daily conversations.

@Cerberus Well, if the people are still here, we'd just need to get them to come to chat more often. If they are gone, we'll need to get new people to come to the site. I'm excited about Latin Stack Exchange entering the beta stage. I was hoping the site would open yesterday, since it's apparently usual to have it be the Tuesday or Wednesday after meeting the requirements, but it seems it's been delayed.

@Cerberus: I see that Reg Dwight and Robusto used to be active here. It's too bad that they left. At least Reg Dwight is still active on ELU. My main motivation for getting to 10000 rep on ELU is so that I can read the meta post Robusto made and then deleted before leaving. I'll probably end up disappointed and unsatisfied, but I'm curious!

@sumelic Yeah, it is very sad. I don't often visit the English any more either.

The English room is now dead most of the day. It used to be very active every day.

I just learned about it by checking the Area51 site.

@Cerberus Oh, thank you! I think I will decline, actually. I don't want to feel like I'm going behind someone's back, and also, it's been useful motivation in the past month.

At least one good thing about the delay on the Latin site is that it gives me time to study and come up with some good questions beforehand.

I think the one I was thinking of is an even earlier one.

Like 2011 or 2012.
