if it fails, it's probably YQL :)

the theme of the hackathon was static web applications, no custom server back end

so we scrape all the steam stuff using YQL. and it can be flakey. So we try and cache as much as we can

hehe that was our team last year. I split my time between design and under the hood stuff, and some of the judge feedback was "could use some design work"

so this year we changed the division of work so that 99% of my work was design stuff

@JohnB Yes... the windows 10 preview looks better than 8, modern apps now being in windows for desktop users

I think they are getting there act together.

I haven't checked out 10 but I'm excited for it. I'm not an 8 naysayer, that's what I use personally. 8.1 improved a lot of things, but there is still some "tablet mentality" stuff baked in that they really need to phase out

@JohnB I'm also on 8.1, and I think its fine, I just don't use any modern apps because of the annoying lack of windows. Now that I have windows, I'll start using them (as will others like me)... and I think they will improve, since most of them are absolutely awful at the moment.

@JohnB Yes, it now switches (based on attachment[or lack there of] if a keyboard) on the surface, which I think is perfect!

How can I jump to the selected object in the out-liner, I've got over 200 objects in my scene, all named cube.___ ... and I can't seem to find my selected object. How can I jump to it?
