Is this image understandable?
Font should be bolder i think. I am working on that.

1:10 PM
@joojaa bolder font would definitely help
but I really like the way the text is aligned, very easy to read
how big is it going to be?

1 hour later…
2:39 PM
@Yisela about 1/3 of a
A4,
My own font, it was meant larger, takes about a hour to make bolder

@joojaa I'd emphasize those dashed guidelines less and the sections you are pointing out more.

@Redriderx well the drawing standard says all virtual lines need to be half the size of unshaded geonetry edges. So that the plotter needs no more than 2pens.

2 hours later…
5:12 PM
Updated font width, should it be even bolder @Yisela ?

5:28 PM
@joojaa Ah I see. I have to admit I don't do print so I didn't think of that sort of thing.

5:57 PM
@RedRiderX Actually i going to mill the shape into metal but, the idea is same i should be able to do it with 2 tool ends.

Adobe Creative Cloud can be installed on two machines with Single User and I am the primary user (only user). I'm not seeing anything in the license stipulating it must be used for the same work. It says if its a Volume License it has to be used solely for the benefit of that License but otherwise doesn't. Thinking about using that to install CC on my home laptop to avoid paying for it. Anyone have a reason not to?

@Ryan actual use is irrelevant. It's the number of users which matters. Any single user can install the Adobe Creative Suite on two machines with the limitation that only that user will ever be using the applications. You're free to actually use the apps for anything you want. But you can't legally be in two places at once. So you couldn't have it installed at work, then installed on your home system so your girlfriend could use it while your'e working... that sort of thing.

Yup thats the seal with office too

The reality is, you get 2 installs. As long as you only have 2 installs your'e fine. Adobe doesn't really track when or how those installs ae actually being used. They pretty much only track that there's a maximum of 2 from my experience.

Nice!

Joojaa I'd go slightly bolder on the type and slightly bolder on the primary outline.
But that's me :)

7:29 PM
my deals became seals :) *Nice!*
@Scott Yeah i was thinking making lin as wide as primary line
haven't got around scripting the font generation yet i mean it makes the font but fontforge still does not do this automatically Other then thats its just a change in a line.

I'm so happy to learn this. Just saved me $480 for CC Subscription
I still want to buy my own, but can at least hold off until I make a few projects

I always install on my desktop and laptop.. and I have a second version of the major apps for a third/forth install if needed (still not paying ofr subscriptions here)

Well technically its going to be me using my Office's Account. But since we're not a creative shop its just a single user license for me

Then you're fine unless you leave the job

So if you go from teaching engineers to teaching art schooners is it a big jump you think

7:34 PM
yeah engineers eat up math.. art students.. not so much :)

Yeah, as I said I'll buy my own copy soon enough, but I can at least hold off for a couple months

Well i despise correcting maths assignments
Besides engineers in general dont do math all that well. They just are math oriented, but dont know how to use it.
So the math part is what im trying to eliminate form my curiccula

but art students have panic attacks with too much math :)
If it can't be done on a calculator art students struggle :)

Yeah, well its part of the experience
If it cant be done with calculator our engineering students struggle. God forbid asking to use a MATH software

HA!

7:37 PM
So really i dont see the difference (joking aside i know the difference, you can see it on GD.SE)
---
is the punctuation dot supposed to be wider than the stroke?

not that I'm aware of

@joojaa Looks great!
@Ryan You can use it on 2 computers. I do. You have access to the same things (like typekit).
hi @Scott

Hi @Yisela :)

feeling better now?

yeah I started shaking it off Thursday mornigna dn by Friday I was fine :)
Just a bad 3-4 days :)
Any luck on the job front?

7:47 PM
yes
some new little jobs
nothing big, but it gives me time to catch up with web design, I worked for a company for too long. I'm dated.

I know that feeling :)

old sea lions

Have fun :)

see you later!

2 hours later…
10:16 PM
Now I remember why I prefer Windows for certain things. Going to need to buy a mouse for my laptop, with buttons, not that shit Apple we're too good for buttons mouse
