@ZachSaucier i am trying to target unique IDs for an animation. The animation works but i need to target whatever the digits are and a loop will not work.
But I often see you quickly answer a Q in a comment. If you'd make those answers, they'd be in the right place to begin with, and could easily be edited if you're too lazy to do so :P
Can anyone please tell me what application can be used to convert an image to a cartoon like in this image:
Or to anime art like this:
I don't mean like Photoshop, Illustrator, or GIMP, I mean like an app that does that without the hassle of the a forementioned tools.
I've been playing around with luminosity masking per your suggestion, so my current workflow is to open the image in Camera Raw, adjust the exposure and stuff, bring it into Photoshop, then open it again in Camera Raw, re-adjust, bring it into Photoshop
so for an image like that where stuff in the shadows is underexposed and the cliff face is a tad overexposed, am I on the right track with using luminosity masks to equalize the exposures?
I have a lot to learn about Lightroom and Camera Raw still. Having learned Photoshop first I barely touch them. Lightroom didn't even exist when I learned Photoshop
yeah you can do that
could also consider the channels. since the rock face is heavy in the Red channel and the foreground is heavy in the Green channel that would be another thing to consider utilizing
My guess for that image is that other channels are being used to store other data, so you need to split all those images into their RGB componenets and see which channels are useful
well for one thing you completely avoided how its more expensive to you compared to a new mac
I plan to get a monitor as well still but it has to be put on back burner probably until like Tax Return 2017 cause I wasn't expecting the tutorial videos to be so hard on my laptop's processor
I might get a monitor sooner anyways but unfortunately a new laptop jumped to the front of the list as a result of the constraints Im facing
still trying to find out how much of the sRGB it covers natively. Reading different reports. At home since I plan to still get a monitor in the near future its no big deal but until I get that monitor and when I'm traveling it would be nice if its at least decent
now Im trying to figure out why @Darth_Vader says its expensive compared to Mac
@Ryan still reading but good to know. You've been across the board so trying to understand your intent
@Ryan compared to all the talks I was unsure what you wanted. We've discussed several options and I thought you said a week or so ago you were buying a monitor. I guess you didnt.
15 days ago I finally made my first tutorial and discovered its taking 3 or 4 hours to process the video on my old laptop. That's not acceptable so my plans in the immediate changed
but for real estate size and RAM I still think an iPad would have been better. Though I typically scout macsales for a used so it isn't a major hike on price
I'm still trying to understand why Darth said its expensive though. I've got the Mac site open and the cheapest laptop with an i7 would be the 13" MBP upgraded to i7 at $1,599
i think for the next one, ill be focusing on display, ram speed and probably go for faster core i5 instead of an i7. i'm now on a low i7 and i guess i dont use too many apps at the same time
eshop.macsales.com/item/Apple/4II7CXXD8GD and upgrade the RAM to possible 24gb you are about 500 less than what you purposed at the top but that is up to you. If you're not trying to go portable you can use the other 500 for another monitor or tablet.
I created a demi-circle with the clipping feature, but it shows up as a group of two items. Like this:
But i just want a normal path, could i do this anyway?
it's a misleading question, as for the OP's situation the answer is not what they asked. In other words they didn't understand their app/problem well enough
