Aside from things like preventing hull damage in a space battle you might loose, or trying to get the Coming in for my Pacifism run! achievement, is there ever any benefit or "good outcome" from choosing "do not attack" or other "do nothing" options like: Explore the asteroid field? Too dangero...

well there is "before it was cool"

what you need to do with that

is create a question with a brand new never used tag

one that doesn't exist in the system at all

get upvoted

and then have somebody else ask a question on that same tag, and get upvoted

and then you have all of the secret hats he has too
