Not sure if there is an intermediate page (don't wanna sockpuppet), but the Ask Question page doesn't refer to it either and the How to Ask only serves as much purpose as it can

@Burgi From meta talk a long while ago I think it does. I'm not sure how much of a nag screen it is though. It kind of depends on the location and visibility of the button. If it's a "click me!!!" button then people won't care to read, but if they can't visually distinguish the button they are somewhat forced to at least identify what the page is all about.

Q: traceroute TCP equivalent for Windows

I'm trying to determine where connectivity to an external host using a specific TCP port is being blocked. Traceroute for Windows only uses ICMP, and telnet will only tell me that the port is blocked and not where. Does anyone know of a Windows utility similar to traceroute that will achieve this?

i was only looking at that question because it was linked as a possible duplicate from another question and quickly noticed the manufacturer tag, i remembered a conversation that was had in here about them being obsolete
