I want a SSD cache on my desktop, after the extreme success on the laptop :P

Problem is, I don't have any SATA3 ports to spare...

I could move one of the current HDDs to a SATA2 port, but it's in fakeRAID, so I'd have to tear apart the RAID... ugh

@AlejandraGarcia My laptop has the slowest HDD I've seen in a decade. I added a mSATA SSD purely as a cache drive, and boots went from >30s to <15s. Hibernation with Rapid Start went from ~10-15s to ~3s

I do have it set up that most of my incoming files (downloads, steam) are on my 3tb drive, torrents are on another system, so the main transient file usage is probably the pagefile

speaking of printer paper: I printed a 350-ish-page PDF book for a coworker on my laser printer at home.. took me multiple tries to get it right

printer is manual duplex, and apparently both the printer driver and Acrobat can independently try to bookletize the booklet, and if you have them both do it, you end up with four pages of text on each side of each sheet of paper

there's something like 94 pieces of paper in the successful print, two pages to each side of each sheet of paper

that's a 4:1 paper to page ratio

A: can't ping VMWare 9 workstation running Win 7 on Win 8 host (or from other machines)

I was facing the same problem.. Neither I could ping VM from host machine, nor I could connect sql server installed on host machine, from VM. I just disabled the windows firewall on VM and everything started work fine. My host machine is Win7 64bit with AVG and VM is WinXP.

Q: click more than one pixel at once in Windows

I want to click more than one pixel at once. for example: if I click in an application, it simulate X pixels (from Left,Right,Up & Down) beside the current mouse position. obviously it should avalable with a shortkey to prevent problems.

It is scrolling inverted. A feature of the chromebook touchpad. (not an externally connected mouse item)
