Its FOSS (so someone can fork it), but you need to pay for access to binaries (which happens - xchat windows for example), and source (which is entirely within the gpl) and then they give you away free licences

@HackToHell when all else fails and only out of desperation there are utilities in existance that make tiny calls to the hard drives to force them to stay awake. Also there is ways to change the hard drives own idle, the problem for green drives.

Id like to know how to properly calculate the consumption of user downloads in a given specified bandwidth. say, i have 700 users which will simultaneously download an image with file size (300KB). My server badnwidth capacity is 100MB. How many MB does 700 users will consume on my 100MB server...

They actually do have extra brainwave towers at the stadium (there are stories on the web splaining it), paid millions for them. Because humans adsorb RF waves, they have a cell tower for it, and many very strong RF trasmisions going on for cummunications and video. Probably more radiation exposure there than anywhere . . . @Boris_yo a good fireflaws user has many things blocked , like "programs" that run from the web. extra editing software, like even full text editors for forums require more "stuff" to be running on your computer. On other browsers and windows that respond to windows "smooth scrolling" feature, or on a programs own version of that. Turning off the smooth scrolling , with its dampening and delaying scroll can be one thing that changes it.

And at the time i could not be certian it would occur again this year. but for the most part it did. you could buy anything 4-6mo after the Hype for the same price. it will either be on sale again, or just drop in price in general. very few items will be unavilable.

Availabilty is one of the excuses that a person will use when falling for the Hype of the sale days. (this applies to people buying stuff for thier own uses not as x-mas gift items)

@Psycogeek Questions on metal. If item is made of zinc alloy but has silver plating, does it make it low quality and susceptible to rust (corrosion?) if that item is bottle stopper. You know the small one that serves to keep bottles closed? Wine, champagne, lemonade stopper? And is there such thing as silver plating?

I read on Amazon for certain stopper that some people report rust after 6 months. So I wondered how that stopper gets in contact with wine, campagne, lemonade itself unless they put it horizontally? There was no mention of metal and plating.

Amazon if you drop a product in a wish list , they will inform you of percentage changes of prices. Passmark (ex) cpubenchmark.net/… will track value vs speed and have a pricing graph.

I do not know of other price graphings. I usually follow a product (drooling) for much time, check users reactions, wait for version 1.1 (sweating) , check for the competitive products , then . . . never get it because i am frucking broke , and it was all just a dream.

Amason does not, but if you choose to buy from all the other sellers that list under the same thing, there very well can be a seller who send out a fraud item. The "ratings" , people insist are supposed to be on the products only (as people get angry when they star knock a product for the seller). I think it is all deserved, be it the product or the seller, that IS what is being sold and advertised there.

If you allow fraud sellers to party and screw people under your same banner, then either get rid of them lock them up, or provide for resititution, but do not expect that people will forgive the store for a employee in it :-) Or a banner with fraud inside.

When I need to change something on the fly, I usually do it in DevTools, then make adjustments. But the live reload/inject in-browser might be one of those things where I go like "Jeeze, why didn't I do this sooner?" once I implement it into our process :P

@JourneymanGeek basically, the ceiling in the garage fell down on my mom's car; my dad's legs hurt so bad that he can barely walk (diabetic neuropathy); one of my mom's wrists is hurt so she can only use one hand (it's treatable with surgery but she is scheduled to have surgery in several weeks from now); and I'm worried about a suspicious looking lump on my body that seems vaguely to possibly be some kind of tumor (malignant or not, who knows)

problem is, I looked up this type of cancer, and I fit the demographics for it to a T

and there's literally no info on self-diagnosis

I did some research and there are like 14 types of non-cancerous bumpy/lumpy things that can appear indistinguishable from a cancerous growth to the untrained eye

side notes: i got activated finnaly. never will know what was wrong, just did one more round of telephone the computer and spend 10minutes with the numbers.

I was all ready to buy another licence, pushed the button for it, but they would not sell one .

MS will no longer deliver non-store OS, must get shopping cart version. Many dealers have actually hoarded up copies, and prices vary from lower than , to 150% original prices. Many old licences out there, but most of it was pretty shadey, peeling COAs off recycled and discarded computers.

(which would be OEM licences, and therfore not legally transferable, but works anyways)
