@OliverSalzburg something for work involving screenshots, node-webkit and tears of frustration. mostly the latter.
and that's pretty much because JS is single-threaded with no way to delay execution, and I need to wait for something to render before screenshotting in multiple nested loops and recursion
For god's sake. Playing with a cat and watching it chase, say, a string of clothing like is a prey, and teasing said cat, is hilarious if it's for at most a couple minutes. An entire hour is cruelty.
I am not that sure. I can no longer pick up my bluetooth keyboard (with build in laser pointer - possibly intended as a beamer/presentation gadget) without my cat insisting on hunting that little red dot.
Hello everyone, I bought a new Mac today and want to install things in a more organized way. For example I am using the package manager Homebrew and some other package managers. Is it recommended to create a folder (i.e. "package managers") and simply add that folder to my path?
@Sven we don't really do mac support here, but when it comes to questions like that, you pretty much go with what works or what seems most expedient to you; there's no "recommendation"
although I could warn you against having multiple separate package managers' packages being installed in the same prefix, since you could end up with conflicting libs
