I dont know which version my IE is, i dont know where to check it, but it came with Windows 7, so it cant be that old.

@studiohack It's Chrome without the Google behind the scenes integration. It will only sync with Google if you tell it too. It's the father and mother of Chrome
Also it has a blue icon. Not a red/green/yellow one
@studiohack I dont even know where to begin... tried to follow the directions and got aimlessly confused. In the end - just wasted like 500MB of bandwidth :P

so use your scroll wheel or bar or whatever to go all the way down to the bottom, and it stays there...if you go up even a couple of pixels, it stays, kinda weird
@Diago you may have just converted one of the most die hard firefox users out there to Chromium
@Diago it looks nice... I'm curious, can I use some addons in Chromium? like I use Google Voice a lot (but nothing else really from Google), so is there any real benefit to logging into my Google Account from the browser?
@studiohack Well, I use chrome because of the ability to sync with Chrome. I don't use GOogle Voice, and I am not a big plugin users, but the Chrome store should work for Chromium as well. I do like Chrome sync because you have the same browser no matter what machine you log into, and I used to switch machines a lot.
IT will keep Add-Ons, Themes and Settings all in sync.
@studiohack Chrome. I got tired of trying to keep Chromium up to date and when I posted that answer and used it, it didn't support inline PDF's. I think it does now.
On Windows I use Chrome more. It has an IE plugin for Windows that allows you to run sites that need it in IE mode.
Twitter is unblocked at our place, staff have access to YouTube but they have to request it. Facebook is striaght out (the kids would get NO work done)

I spend a lot of time minimalizing my way of doing things. I am at a point where I can do most of the things I want with the OS defaults alone, with exception.
@Diago because no browser I use does exactly want I want it to do...I like webmail notifications and I need some pages to reload every. FoxReplace I use for SU, and BadgeTab lets me know when I get a new text...

@Diago lol I know. I tend to be loyal to products/brands to a fault, and I like Firefox...gonna try Chromium off and on for a few days - but am reinstalling Firefox 7 - using Revo Uninstaller

@SimonSheehan I'd take one big monitor over multiple screens, definitely – I tried extending the desktop with the MacBook, but I end up using one monitor only :P
Well tomorrow i've got driving lessons at 9am.. I'd like to spend this weekend just working on looking at a job. It's on my mind and im driven more now
I've sort of lost interest in it, but these guys have great stuff to talk about.. I figured that if we spend 60+ minutes a day in class talking about it, why not make it a little more interesting? :D
well, it's always this dilemma ... if there is no equipment or bad crappy equipment, everybody's complaining, and once there's a perfectly equipped room, they're not even using it properly
Anyone think that game package will go down any more!? Only £2.60, but, not sure to buy or wait! ... I won't have time to play any time soon, but, for the price, I am thinking I should buy for the future!
anybody here use Chrome and log into the same site with a different username in different tabs? e.g. yahoo mail.
or youtube and gmail.. separate tabs. (they seem to be linked up). i'd like logins separate. you yahoo mail in one tab, yahoo mail in another tab. youtube in one tab, gmail in another tab. all separate.
i could google it but if anybody here already uses a good method, please speak up!
