I don't think that church is truly inter-denominational. Well, at least Quakers, Unitarians, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Mormons don't quite fit. :P

The church does not say much about pornography, but by the judgment of the other sexual sins, I assume that the church believes that pornography is a sin. (I do not believe that pornography is a sin, but I do believe that it is entirely unprofessional and unfeminist.)

Hmmm... it really sounds like a non-denominational evangelical Protestant fundamentalist church to me. :P

@Anonymous Possibly a church that "borrows" from multiple denominations? I've heard it characterized as "charismatic lite", and I've generally considered it to be non-denominational.

@El'endiaStarman Every Christian wants to follow God, but every Christian is limited by what he has: scripture and tradition. :P

I think it's good to have ideals, even if the ideals are practically unreachable.

At least you'd know you're on the right path to what you want, even though you may never actually get it.

@Anonymous Don't forget personal revelation. Not only to me, but also to others. I saw an acquaintance put it this way: the Bible should be considered as a library.

I have a blog post on Eschewmenical where I argue that in addition to ancient Scripture (e.g. the Bible), there is also modern Scripture. Works by C.S. Lewis, John Bunyan, Martin Luther, John Eldredge, and similar authors might qualify.
